  • "Always wanted to try this place. It didn't disappoint. The ribeye steak was amazing. I can easily say one of the best I ever had. I bypassed the butter they put on it too. Sides were delicious. Food is very rich but you can easily find light things to eat on the menu and they re eager to accommodate as well. Service was excellent. Pretty much your classic high end steak dining experience. "

  • "Everything's was so perfect. We definitely go to this restaurant more often. Only 1 thing if we are going to say something negative is seating. It might be more comfortable if the space between tables is a little be more. We felt little bit too close. But that's ok. Still everybody doesn't talk loud in this kind of restaurant. So, not a big deal. I wish the cocktail I got, "Coconut, lemon ginger martini" will be regular! I really love this martini!"

  • "The key selling point for Ruth Chris is you know what you are getting. No surprises, great food , great service. Probably the Best steak in town. Cooked at 1800 degrees to your preference and served on a 500 degree plate in butter. What more can you ask for, except garlic Mash and a great wine list."

The sweet potato casserole, we all agreed, was the best thing on the table. We also all agreed we wish we had gone to Outback for better food overall and a third of the price."

  • "We go here for special occasions and for good reasons. While the prices are substantial, you get what you pay for. Our reservation was ready upon arrival. Our waiter was aware of allergies as noted in my instructions to the Maître 'd (thanks to Open Table notes!!!). Service was excellent, and the steaks were exceptional. Our party of 4 had two rib eyes and a porterhouse for two. The sides were great and the cake our guests brought were served with no additional charge. In addition, the waiter comped the corkage fee for our wine. All in all, we had a truly memorable meal and birthday celebration."

It is very rich and delicious but most bodies can't eat like this very often....it is a heart attack waiting to happen. Loved it! My only disappointment? What happened to the flourless chocolate cake? It was nowhere to be seen and the Chocolare Explosion was not a good substitute!"

  • "The food is good, do not get me wrong. This would be a 5 star experience if they just coordinate their dining rooms properly. This is a regular dinner for me and my wife, although it's not a special occasion or anything but we cannot talk privately since the restaurant mixed us with crowds of people with 5 and 7 people tables inside a small hall. I guess the restaurant needs to find a better way than just cramping all the tables to get maximum sales. We are paying $50 steaks with tips so I guess we'd like to have a better environment."

There was a 23 minute delay to get my beer but the food came out as expected and the dlavors were very good. The only downside was the valet at exit...they were really struggling with a customer and they certainly seemed under staffed...but our car came up in about 6 minutes"

  • "By far, the best steak I've had. I came here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. The waiter came by and wish us a happy anniversary and was very friendly and polite. He offered us his recommendation and we went with the Filet/Lobster and Ribeye. The Filet was cooked to perfection. Juicy and succulent. No chewiness, just melts in your mouth. The Lobster was juicy and sweet. Ribeye was excellent. I have tried many Filet in many 3-4 dollar sign restaurants and by far, this was the best Filet in my personal opinion."

  • "We chose Ruth's Chris for our 40th Anniversary and it did not disappoint! We had been there 1 time before and will continue for special occasions. On our reservation I noted this special anniversary and several of the wait staff, along with the manager, made a point to come by and give us their best wishes. They had anniversary confetti to sprinkle on the table and provided us with a special dessert to share. The food was FABULOUS!!! Everything was perfectly cooked and Carter, our waiter, was very attentive. He explained the menu and steered us toward Ruth's Classics as our best value - an all inclusive dinner. My husband, being a wine steward, was very pleased with their wine selection. :) Dinner was $$$, but worth EVERY penny!! 5 STARS!"

Unfortunately, my date's ribeye steak was cooked well done and she had ordered it medium and her green beans were undercooked so they were hard and a little tough to chew, but the manager came over when he heard about it and had the waitress bring out a fabulous new ribeye and replaced the green beans with their creamed spinach which was also fantastic. Additionally, which came totally as a suprise, when we were ready to pay our bill, the waitress advised us that the manager offered my date a free choice of dessert for the steak not being cooked properly in the first place which just further proves how fabulouse customer oriented this restaurant is."

  • "So we went back to this restaurant after being away for about 4 years. The food and the service were consistent - good quality, fresh ingredients, standard 'established restaurant' fare and approach that you would expect from the steakhouse restaurants (e.g. Mortons, Ruth Chris's, Houstons etc). However.... having eaten at many newer style restaurants e.g. in the Bay Area, this restaurant all of a sudden felt stufty and old. The dark wood decor... dark lighting... focus on steaks etc - it is so 80s/90s/investment bankers huddling at night kind of a feel. So if you are looking for good quality standard steak restaurant fare this will definitely fit the bill. We will probaby be back, though likely with more traditionally inclined company."

  • "Ruth's Chris is one of my favorite steak places. Their New York strip, filet mignon, Caesar salad, lyonnaise potatoes, and sweet potato casserole are my favorites. The steaks are well spiced and cooked perfectly nearly every time. Make sure to reserve a long time for dinner because it normally takes 2-3 hours for the entire meal to complete. Our group of six started around 6pm and ended around 8:30pm."

The selections were pretty good, we had our own appetizers, I had the petite filet and he had the new york strip, our own sides and desserts.   • "My wife and I took our son for his 15th birthday. It was his first time and he loves a nice steak. My wife an I had been there probably 10 years ago for an anniversary. We loved it. Karen, our server made our time even more special. We ordered from the $40 price fixe menu that came with an app, the entre, and desert. We also ordered the calamari from the menu. It was delicious! Not fried as I had imagined it would be. I had he scallops, sashimi tuna for my app, and cheesecake for desert. My wife did the filet, Caesar salad, and cheesecake. My son did the NY strip, shrimp gumbo for the app, and he chocolate cake. We had doggie bags to take home with us. We were stuffed. They also brought out a tiramisu for our son, and it was spot on."

  • "Went to this restaurant for my husband's birthday celebration. We were in luck, as it was Orange County restaurant week. We got a wonderful 3 course meal for only $40.00. I had the Ahi tuna, 8 oz filet and a great chocolate dessert. My husband had the Caesar salad, 12 oz NY strip, and the cheese cake dessert. He also received an extra birthday treat from the restaurant! The steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare. The steaks at this restaurant are cooked in butter and cooked in a high temp oven, which seals in the flavor of the prime meat. The food comes to the table piping hot. We feel their steaks are the best! The service is also excellent, and everyone is always very friendly. We also come for lunch on Fridays."

The one thing that marred the occasion was the loud mouth watching the game at the bar. He would hoot and holler like it was a sports bar. Unfortunately, the staff did nothing to quiet the man down.
