"We were a bit surprised when we arrived at this Ruth's, it is really in the middle of nowhere, not in Hartford, but in Newington, quite a bit outside of the city. The restaurant building was very dowdy, both inside and out. But the food was excellent of course and the service was great. We were celebrating our anniversary and the server treated us to a couple after dinner cocktails, a nice finish to a great dinner."

"We got what we paid for. The bill for two people was around $150, which included 2 lobster bisque, 2 surf and turf and a sweet potato casserole to share. If you want a GOOD steak, and you have some extra cash, Ruth's Chris is the place to go. The lobster tail was very thick, and the thickest part wasn't done quite as much as I would have liked. Everything else was superb. The sweet potato casserole doubles as a dessert, it was very decadent."

"Have dined here a number of times and all is very consistent. A bit pricey but if you want great steak, you know you're going to pay for it and you get just what you pay for here. Always excellent service too."
