Excellent waiter, well informed and very helpful. Wish I could say the same about the food. It was just so so. A premium rib eye steak can be cooked to perfection very easily. Not sure how they could mess it up. We asked for medium rare. The steaks. Inside they were ok but the blackened char on the outside ruined the taste. The blackened char was bitter, really, I can cook a lower grade of beef myself and it will taste better. Much better steaks are available at the everyday chain steakhouses. We received a gift card, so we used it on our anniversary. Being Ruth's Chris, we knew we had to try the steak. It was as good as advertised - the best I've ever had. They serve very generous portions of entree and sides. Thankfully our waitress, Taylor, told us this before we ordered, or we would have had far more food than we could have eaten. The mashed potatoes and the broccoli au gratin were excellent, but the steak is the star by far. Yes, it's pricey. My husband ordred the ribeye, ( a man who know his steaks )he said it was very good but when he tasted my pork chops he said they were better.
