place for that break.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMMay 26 2013We had a 730pm reservation and we arrived on time. We were told we would be seated in15 minutes. Instead we were seated 25 minutes later. If I wanted to be seated at 8pm, I would have made an 8 o'clock reservation. Unacceptable!!!
I ordered from the classic menu, which is a prix fix. I chose mashed potatoes as my side dish and was late told they ran out. Hard to believe, don't u think? I instead chose the "special" side dish that night, Mac and cheese. The waitress hesitated for a minute as this is not one if the choices in the classic menu. I said I think it is fair since you ran out of the mashed. She did bring me the Mac and cheese.

I've been to several private dining events and they have all been wonderful. On this occasion, which was a regular dinner for my wife and I, we met Anna, who is the Private Dining Coordinator and she was wonderful. Our waiter Dan was attentive and friendly, he even found a bottle of wine with our name on it. Throughout the meal I noticed the managers constantly checking the dining room to ensure everything was running smoothly. That was a special touch. The decor and lighting is very nice and the service was great. The porterhouse was better last time, as this time it was a little fatty and more went to waste and for the price, $90 for a steak for two I felt it could have been a little better. It was still delicious though and I would go back for another special occasion. The sauteed spinach portion was hefty and delicious and the baked potato was huge and came with nice toppings. The appetizer of tomato and onion was just okay.
