The Steak is of such great quality and taste that they don't need to sell you on toppings or sauce like some other steakhouses..... The service is also fantastic, we never had an empty glass, and our server was very helpful with suggestions! Have always had good experiences there, but for some reason this visit seemed even better. The food , service and ambience make Ruth's Chris one of our favorite places - for any occasion. Ritchie has waited on my husband and I a few times. After we arrived and he had taken our drink order he told us the chef was preparing our appetizers. (We have eaten at R.C. Many times and Ricthie knows what we like) I felt so special and taken care of, who does that? An impeccable waiter does that. Thank you Ritchie for making me feel extra special on a special evening. Steaks of course are always the best you've ever had, and always even better than you remember. Dessert, "Happy Birthday". Written on my plate with candles. Started with a red blend wine, Buena Vista from Sonoma, recommended by our waitress- really good. The fried lobster appetizer with jalapeno cream sauce was amazing. I will be back just for that. Filet and New York strip were cooked perfectly- shrimp on the top were a bit overcooked. Sauteed mushrooms and broccoli au gratin were flavorful.
