Have always had good experiences there, but for some reason this visit seemed even better. The food , service and ambience make Ruth's Chris one of our favorite places - for any occasion. The 16 oz ribeye I ordered was cooked correctly and was flavored without being overbearing. Had Rob as a server and he was top notch and very professional and courteous. Had the filet and as usual it was perfect. Started with a red blend wine, Buena Vista from Sonoma, recommended by our waitress- really good. The fried lobster appetizer with jalapeno cream sauce was amazing. I will be back just for that. Filet and New York strip were cooked perfectly- shrimp on the top were a bit overcooked. Sauteed mushrooms and broccoli au gratin were flavorful.
