The staff was very nice. We had no wait time and service was prompt. Our waiter- Joey was great, did not bother us too much but just when we needed it. He asked what the occasion was and when we shared that it was for a birthday, he sprinkled birthday confetti on our table. I thought that was different and great way to acknowledge the ocassion without the embarrasing singing! The food was great! The Sweet Potato Cassarole was excellent! STILL!Wonderful food and service is the norm at Ruth's Chris. The Sea Bass is extraordinary. Highly recommend the Port of Manhattan cocktail, although there are many other interesting libations on the bar menu. Valet parking is always smooth and incredibly friendly. If anyone is still thinking this is yet another "chain" restaurant, that is simply not the case. It's one of Ruth's Chri's very finest, and, to our way of thinking, the best steakhouse in Dallas.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother Great VisitFrom the extraordinary greeting by the Valet Parking Attendant , a trip to Ruth's Chris is always a great experience. Service was good and the food was up to standard other than the Trio of Shellfish which accompanies one of the Filet's, which was over-spiced and very tough. Original cocktails are all perfect. I had a reservation through Open Table. We walked in a were not greeted. The hostesses were enjoying a conversation among them selves. When we were addressed we were then left waiting for the hostess to seat us with no direction from anyone. Finally one of the hostess decided it was time to seat us. Once seated we had the most amazing server. She was very attentive even though her section was very busy. You can't go wrong. We've had Bryan, our waiter, before and this time he was less attentive than usual. The place wasn't overcrowded so I don't think that was it - we just had to ask more than once for things he should have anticipated in a place where you're spending $250+ for four people.

Service from the Valet Parking attendant throughout the entire dinner (Joey has to be one of Dallas' best waiters) was nothing less than perfect. The only minor glitch to the meal was that we asked for our steaks to be cooked Medium- hot pink throughout. They were cooked much past that- Medium Well at a minimum. But they were still representative of the finest steak available, and we enjoyed them. All other parts of the meal, from appetizer to dessert, were outstanding. GREAT cocktail menu. This is NOT a "chain steakhouse" experience; it is steal and seafood dining at its best. The food is pricey but the overall experience and good is worth it. My fiancée and I were gonna go to reunion tower but saw the reviews for Ruths Chris were much better and we believe we made the best choice! Ruth's surprised my fiancée and I with something for our anniversary. Our experience was much more than we could've imagined or expected. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend going to anyone. The staff makes you feel that your table is the only table!! They deserve every star I gave them!!!

The chop salad was one of the best I have had at a restaurant and every steakhouse has one on the menu.We loved our steaks and visiting with our friendly and attentive waiter, Bob. We enjoyed a pleasant evening. The only downside was a group of women in the bar were extremely loud, and although we tried to enjoy a drink at the bar before going to our table, we were unable to hear each other or the musician and had to go on to our table. Even at our table we could hear the women. As usual, the food was outstanding as well as the service. This was the first time we took our daughter who is 19 months. There is not a children's menu but she was happy to eat from our plates, and they had a small cup with a lid which was great. Upon arrival they had sprinkled birthday confetti for the occasion (my husbands 28th birthday), the man playing the piano in the bar area even came over to wish him a happy birthday and take a song request, and they sent us home with a tasty dessert.
