Ruth's Chris Steak House - North DallasService off - still the best!Ruth's Chris is my favorite steakhouse in Dallas. My wife and I love the preparation and the meat itself. You can't go wrong. We've had Bryan, our waiter, before and this time he was less attentive than usual. The place wasn't overcrowded so I don't think that was it - we just had to ask more than once for things he should have anticipated in a place where you're spending $250+ for four people.

Service from the Valet Parking attendant throughout the entire dinner (Joey has to be one of Dallas' best waiters) was nothing less than perfect. The only minor glitch to the meal was that we asked for our steaks to be cooked Medium- hot pink throughout. They were cooked much past that- Medium Well at a minimum. But they were still representative of the finest steak available, and we enjoyed them. All other parts of the meal, from appetizer to dessert, were outstanding. GREAT cocktail menu. This is NOT a "chain steakhouse" experience; it is steal and seafood dining at its best. The food is pricey but the overall experience and good is worth it. My fiancée and I were gonna go to reunion tower but saw the reviews for Ruths Chris were much better and we believe we made the best choice! Ruth's surprised my fiancée and I with something for our anniversary. Our experience was much more than we could've imagined or expected. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend going to anyone. The staff makes you feel that your table is the only table!! They deserve every star I gave them!!!

The chop salad was one of the best I have had at a restaurant and every steakhouse has one on the menu.We loved our steaks and visiting with our friendly and attentive waiter, Bob. We enjoyed a pleasant evening. The only downside was a group of women in the bar were extremely loud, and although we tried to enjoy a drink at the bar before going to our table, we were unable to hear each other or the musician and had to go on to our table. Even at our table we could hear the women. It was the first time three of the people in my party had been to Ruth Chris and he went through the menu in great detail. Our gift for dining with them was a wonderful framed event photograph of us at the table, and double (and free) Cheesecakes rolled in Oreo Cookie crumbs with the chocolate homemade peanut clusters, with the words Happy Birthday written on one plate in chocolate and Happy Anniversary written on the other plate. The Lobster appetizer is wonderful, plus they created a scallop appetizer for us at our request. BOTH delicious! The VP of the Ruth Chris Region came by our table, which was a delight. As usual, the food was outstanding as well as the service. This was the first time we took our daughter who is 19 months. There is not a children's menu but she was happy to eat from our plates, and they had a small cup with a lid which was great. Upon arrival they had sprinkled birthday confetti for the occasion (my husbands 28th birthday), the man playing the piano in the bar area even came over to wish him a happy birthday and take a song request, and they sent us home with a tasty dessert.
