A truly terrific dining experience!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day DinnerRuth Chris is one of my top 5 restaurants, so my fiance took me there for Mother's Day and we both got the Trio dinner, it was very good, and we drank a whole bottle of "yellow label" champagne. Our waiter was very attentive and that's what we love about this establishment. The service, attitude, and overall professionalism was excellent. The food was magnificent. We both enjoyed the 12 oz stake & lobster. The stake nice and tender, the lobster very delicious. Dessert was the best, apple pie & ice cream a meal in it's self, my favorite!

We got a great table at the window to people watch. One of the rooms is very dark with no windows. I would ask for the windowed room that we had if you want a bit more ambiance. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Waitstaff attentive.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's hard to go wrong here!Not a lot of negative thoughts after last night's visit to Ruth's Chris on Connecticut Avenue NW in DC. We were there for our friend's 56th birthday celebration. I originally had made a reservation for four of us, but we had a last minute addition to our group so I called the restaurant and my ad-hoc request was promptly accommodated. The bread put on the table was very tasty and incredibly crispy. We shared the crab-stuffed mushrooms, ahi tuna, and calamari appetizers. The calamari was simply stellar. We had both versions of the ribeye, NY strip, and my favorite - filet mignon. We all loved our entrees! Drinks were re/filled quickly and often. The servers were attentive- wonderful server named Ruth took good care of me. My meal was top-notch: iceberg wedge, medium rare filet, sauteed mushrooms and the cheesecake to finish it all. Everyone told him Happy Birthday, we had a great table near the window (although I was a bit drafty) but it really made it seem like I had planned this for a few weeks verses a few hours... Starting with the bartender who attended to us as we awaited our table. Very friendly and attentive. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. The meal was delicious - I had the filet, my husband the cowbody ribeye (I believe that is what it was called) - the sauteed spinach side dish was very tasty.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMRude waiterAs always the food was exceptional.Soon as we walked into RCSH we were greeted by name our coats were checked and we were seated at our same cozy table.The waiter came he was pretty good until he started to try and joke with us. Some of the joke was rude and offense to us so we were alittle irratated with him.We ordered a last mintue side it came out burned im guessing from them trying to rush it because all our other food was there.I told the waiter that it was not nessaserry to send another one because we were almost done but he insisted and that he would take care of it on the bill which he did.
