Diner Reviews
  • "This was my first time going to this location. The food was prepared very well the service at this location was where the wheels came off this puppy. We asked for fresh bread when our salads came out we never got it. I ran dry on water three times. Servers seemed to be more concerned about their conversations than serving their tables."

  • "The food was excellent, service a little slow. Wasn't very crowded especially for a Saturday night. The waiter explained everything in detail and was perfect in every way."

  • "From start to finish, our dining experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House was incredible. The food was amazing and the staff was very professional and attentive. This was definitely a five star experience!"

  • "Olson was a fabulous waiter. He definitely added fun and liveliness to our experience. He also was very helpful in selecting wines and we enjoyed his recommendations."

  • "I went with my husband Sunday evening, and we had a great dinner. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, nothing was out of place and our waiter was very personable. The crab cakes were also a winner. We were so full, we had to take dessert to-go, but this is my favorite Ruth's Chris in Atlanta."

  • "I would like to say that I enjoyed my experience here but I can not. The food was good but the fact that fruit fly kept flying around spoiled my dinner plus the waiter was not thst good. We mention to the waiter about the nets problem and he immediately said it was fruit flys. So they are aware if the problem. I guess they decided not to do anything. I would not go back. To expense for a horrible experience."

  • "Great view of Centennial Park. Wonderful service ~ Steaks were overcooked (no pink) which I've never experienced from a Ruth's Chris. New wine list was wonderful. Will return."

  • "We enjoyed the service wine and food but were VERY aware of the price which put a little tension in the air. Our waiter was Fabulous:) Had a great mean"

  • "My husband and I were concerned about recent reviews. Everything we experienced was spot on. We went earlier on Saturday evening and it was not over crowded or noisy. We enjoyed how green the view was. The steak and everything was great. We appreciated the price fixed selections, our appetites are smaller."

  • "I noted that this was for a special occasion when I made our lunch reservation. I was asked again if this was a special occasion when we arrived (it was). No fuss was made--no special dessert, nothing. The waiter was sweet, but clearly inexperienced. When asked about the Shrimp Linguine, he said "It's pasta". The first basket of bread that was brought out contained one warm baguette and one cold baguette. The sauteed spinach was so salty it was inedible. I asked for a cappucino to have with my dessert. It arrived when I was down to my last few bites of cake--and I was eating slowly. At 114$ for two people I expect better service and better quality."

  • "I'm not even sure where to begin. The food was AWFUL! My petite filet came out sizzling on a plate of some boiling wet mess. I'm sure they just pulled it out of the microwave. The steak didn't even taste like steak (or any meat that I have eaten, for that matter). I took 2 bites and couldn't even pretend to stomach it anymore. DISGUSTING."

  • "My 15 year old son and I both enjoyed our visit to RC. Bone in ribeye and the lamb chops were both excellent. Sides spinach au gratin and mashed potatoes were great. Wish they would bring back their upside down chocolate cake, creme brûlée was good though. Service was way below par and the location plus being in a hotel does not attract the right crowd. I particularly did not care for the guys next to our table showing their dirty underwear as their jeans hung way below their behinds! But besides that it was a great time out with my son. "

  • "I bought my husband to Ruth Chris for an intimate dinner to celebrate his birthday. Initially, the hostess was rude but she warmed up and wished him a happy birthday as I had made a note on the reservations. The battery operated candle did not work on the table we were setting at so that was a turn off because there were lots of other open tables in which the candles were working. Our waiter did not speak good English and was not very attentive; he spent a lot of time in the back and was not attentive to our table. The food was alright but I specifically asked to have the goat cheese held on my salad however my salad had numerous traces of goat cheese on it. Overall the experience was less than pleasing and I will not eat here again. "

  • "Enjoyed ever single minute of our dinner. This is our second experience with Ruth's Chris restaurant (first one in Toronto). Friendly staff, excellence in service and they know all the ins and outs of what they serve very well. Our food was absolutly tasty, as for the wine only high quality. Our attendant pointed out the Chefs 4 course menu. Each dish was perfect. We will be back for sure! "

  • "Food was good but service was not good. Not warm, not thinking much of customers. Quite not same as 2002 I visited. Sorry!"

  • "They do a great job. It's everything you expect a great Steakhouse to be!"

  • "Food and service was great but the bar area was extremely loud. The only part of our dinner experience that we really didn't like. Really loud and obnoxious. I didn't know this was going to be a sports bar! Probably will not be back to this Ruth Chris due to the noise of the bar."

  • "You would think a $500 dinner for 3 would be fantastic. You would be wrong. There wasn't anything specifically bad, just overall food quality was poor. For example the $90 porterhouse for two was so riddled with gristle, it should never have been served. That happens, but shouldn't have been served. They cut it and could have noticed before presenting to paying customers. Just poor. "

  • "My filet had grizzle in it which for the price I do not believe should happen. We were not allowed in the main dining room which did not open until 5. If I had known this I think we would have gone somewhere else. I would not recommend this location to anyone in the future."

  • "I was in a group of 6. Just getting over Lent, I was looking forward to enjoying meat. 5 of us ordered the Petite Filet and it was fantastic. The server explained the sides. We ordered 3 and they were also fantastic. I will be back"

  • "This was my second time eating from this resturant. I had bragged to coworkers about how awesome my first steak was there. This time however it wasn't as good and my friends filet was tuff and overcooked. The chef cooked another which was perfect. Overall a good night out but I probably won't be back for a while but only because I don't get to Atlanta very often and try to eat somewhere different each time."

  • "I had my birthday dinner here and the ambience was extremely nice. The dim lights, the city/park view all contributed to the elegant setting. The food was good, it could have been better then this Restuarant would be five star. The spicy lobster appetizer was really good, a must try. The stuff chicken was also great. I would dine there again."

  • "Food was good. Steaks arrive on plates that were dangerously hot. Service was OK, could of been better."

  • "The attitude of the hosts and servers were very rude and we did not feel a good ambience or being treated with appreciation fro our business. The steak was great but all the rest of the food was pretty ordinary. When you read the story on the menu, you can not really relate to the place. ."

  • "I have had the opportunity to dine at Ruth's Chris in many locations and have been favorably impressed. I often take clients or employees to a Ruth's as special perk. This visit, nothing glaringly wrong, but just seemed less than spectacular. A, at very best, cool reception when we checked in, some minor drama about no one available to take us to a table in a nearly empty restaurant (early evening). The wait staff at the table were capable and friendly, no complaints here. The food was good, not outstanding, with an overcooked steak that I did not send back due to being with a guest and not wanting to make a fuss. One side was served just about lukewarm. Overall, nothing glaringly wrong, but a disappointing evening for the price point,"

  • "We have always enjoyed Ruth's Chris, but this site was not as good as others. The seating we had did overlook Centennial Park, and that was nice, but the interior was rather plain. We did like the roomy seating between the tables, however. We always love their Ruth's prime time menu, but our server failed to mention that and seemed displeased when we asked for that menu. Our Caesar salads were on the dry side. Three of our steaks were overcooked, and we did not want to take the time to have them redone. One order was fine. Coffee and ice cream was good. Overall, it was quiet and relaxing, but food was not as good as it should have been."

  • "We have never had a bad meal from a Ruth's Chris, and this is no exception. It is actually the restaruant inside the Embassy Suites. Excellent service throughout. You have choices of dining outside, inside, or inside in the open area a typical Embassy Suites has."

  • "I've dined in Ruth's Chris Steak Houses all over the country and at every one of them in Atlanta. Without a doubt this is the top store I've ever been in. Food prep is exact, service precise and only as intrusive as you invite it to be, well balanced between friendly chatter and professional detachment. The Centennial location is ideal for special occasions but in an oversight from Section 2, it is also just about perfect for a business meal. Th atmosphere is properly lit, quiet, comfortable, and not at all rushed. Nice view of Centennial Park, too."

  • "I loved this restaurant! Very high class and perfect for special occasions. I would definitely come back here again next year for my birthday. Food was amazing, service was great and I enjoyed myself."

  • "Having dined at this particular Ruth's Chris location many times over the years, I was looking forward to meeting old friends for dinner and conversation. We had an 8:00 reservation and were seated on time. Drink orders were placed and salads served in a timely manner. Our food, however, took 2 hours to arrive. One steak was cold. When I dine at Ruth's Chris, I expect premium service to go along with the premium pricing and you did not meet my expectations. I even had a separate table of employees as my guests who had never dined at a Ruth's Chris. They managed to get their food in 1 1/2 hours and wondered why I raved about the restaurant."

  • "I guess when you eat at a place like this, at least for me, it should always be outstanding and I couldn't say this trip was. Service was minimal, offerings on early menu were just OK. For what you pay, it should have been better"

  • "Ruth's Chris always does a great job. Fantastic service and consistently good food make this the perfect place to eat when you can't risk having a bad experience."

  • "First time to Ruth's Chris in maybe 8 years. I usually don't enjoy the way they cook steaks, usually a thick crust on outside of filet. Looks like I need to give RC another look again as a great steak house, because my filet was perfection!"

  • "Great special they didn't even bother to plate properly. Thank goodness the wine was wonderful. Sorely disappointed."

  • "This trip was a little different. We took our "Kids"! We introduced our kids to Ruth's Chris steakhouse for my eldest sons 13th birthday. We went for lunch (better time to take kids) and the full menu was offered but they also offer a wonderful lunch menu. Try the filet, which is excellent, all sides are a la carte one side feeds 2-3 people. Try the sweet potatoe soufflé! If you like fries try the shoestring fries they're wonderful too! The kids menu was a highlight for our wallet. Cenntienal Olympic park as our view and the SkyView Ferris wheel in the back ground. (Which is also wonderful) I would recommend this place to anyone. Not budget friendly but well worth the money. Special occasion worthy. Make "Reservations" or sit at the bar."
