As always, the steaks were prefectly prepared, and most brought home some leftovers. A special baked potato dish was wonderful. Bread pudding was the best of several desserts. I've always thought that RC was great for food but OK for service; this was outstanding on both fronts. I feel like everyone knows this already. I'll reiterate AMAZING!!!!! I tried the buffalo shrimp appetizer this time. OMG- love. I'll be getting that next week when I return. I went for my birthday. The SERVICE! I want to say this particular time I had the best service I've ever received dining out. they took our pictures (multiple times) the wait staff was SUPER FRIENDLY! We cracked jokes- it was really great. They closed before we were done- no rush! So patient and accomodating. There was no, "the kitchen is closing, hurry up." My Birthday ice cream had a picture on it some of the staff drew- hilarious. If you could ask me anything to review I'd give them an "A+". We started with drinks at the bar and then moved to our table. The one issue we had is that we had called a week earlier and asked to add one person to our party and we were informed that we could not keep our 3:15 reservation if we added another person to our reservation. We would have to come at 6:00. So, we did not change the reservation. To our dismay the restaurant was not full and two tables next to us remained empty the entire time we were there. A bit expensive, a la carte, but they do have some specials which are worth the buy. All 4 of us was pleased. Service was excellent and same for the food. I had the salmon which was just plain salmon, which could be made anywhere, nothing special. Would like to have had some type of sauce on it which I've had in other restuarants. Some entrees like the totmato soup arrived lukewarm, which was unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber (not to mention these prices). Filet was delicious, as as was dessert. The house salad was way too onion-y for 2 of the 4 of us at the table.
The clincher of the evening was when the waiter looked at us and asked, "What can I get you guys?". Really? Guys? Should I even have to explain what's wrong with this?

Last year we were very disapointed with our waitress we had for many reasons. So because we love the food there we decided to go back this year and we could not beleive when we were seated and our same waitress as last year came over to serve us. My son and I just looked at each other and said "oh no!" Well I have to tell you she was excellent this year and we were so happy with our whole experience. I did not know as mine was a filet, and it was correct, but my husband's was incorrect I had started to eat mine, when she discovered the error. They took the food away, (usually a restaurant will ask you and leave it) we then waited until the correct food arrived. I felt they should have offered us another drink or something to make up the error. If they were throwing away the food anyways, why not offer it to us? Another drink would have been wonderful. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

The sides were fine, the desert was good. I wasn't uncomfortable at my table, but I was up against a wall, which and there wasn't any room for me to move the chair back.
