  • "Butter lettuce salad- great. Filet mignon- delicious; ribeye- delicious but too grisly, poor cut of meat, leaving much for the dogs. Creamed spinach - originally served too cold; 2nd round was hot and yummy. Potatoes Au Gratin- mediocre and scalloped 3x too thick; pedestrian. I've had yummier potatoes au gratin from a box. Cheesecake - excellent. Berries and creme- ok, not real cream but very sugary creme that is also used for creme brulee."

  • "I took my boyfriend out for his 30th bday to our fave restaurant. We waited a tiny bit to be seated despite having a reservation but once we were seated everyone went above & beyond to make this evening spectacular. All staff that walked by wished him a happy 30th, our waitress gave him a customized menu that had "Happy Birthday (+ his name) printed on it, the hostess took a picture of us with the restaurant camera then printed it out and placed it in a Thank You card, PLUS the food (as always) was delicious. His dessert even had Happy Birthday spelled out in dried chocolate (important b/c I hate when you can wipe the message right off while eating). ABOVE & beyond. The pic they took is now on our fridge :) !!!"

  • "We've eaten at Ruth's Chris many, many times. It is our go-to place for celebrations. But this time, the quality of food just didn't measure up. The beet salad was bland. The creamed spinach was cool instead of hot. The bread was not hot as usual, and there was too much salt in the food. I suppose every restaurant has a right to an off night, but not at these prices."

  • "This Ruth Chris restaurant in Beverly Hills is the best ever. We had a booth in the bar room and were seated right away.Our waiter was wonderful and made sure everyone's steak was cooked to their liking. I had a rib eye that was cooked to perfection with sizzling butter on a hot plate. We had an amazing bottle of Jordan Wine which was exceptional. For dessert we had the bread pudding which our friend from England said was as good the bread pudding he remembered in England. We had an outstanding evening and will always come back here for the best steak in LA."

The veal chop was well cooked but somewhat chewy rather than tender. Again, at these prices I expect excellence. I didn't get it."

However, my salad was overdressed, and contained yellow, wilted leaves, plus the core from the head of lettuce. The second course took at least 25 more minutes to arrive. The steak was very good, but the rest of the meal was nothing to rave about. A two-hour experience that was very expensive."

  • "It is an eight year tradition for us to spend our Wedding Anniversary and Valentine dinner at Ruth Chris because the service is excellent as well as the food. Everything was excellent because we were taking care that night by the staff with no worries. We got a complimentary chocolate cake and my wife got a nice long stem pink rose that added a nice touch for that evening! We will always plan ahead to dine there on Valentine Day!"

  • "I'm a steak fanatic so I decided to have dinner here since it's down the street from my office. The service was excellent from start to end. My NY strip steak was chewy and wasn't worth half of what I paid for it. The potatoes au gratin were slightly under cooked but the cheese was nicely melted. The fries (not string fries) were nicely seasoned. Sadly I won't be back."

  • "I was just in LA with my wife to celebrate her 45th birthday. I decided to take her to Ruth's Chris for dinner and drinks. We were met by a well trained wait staff, that was very attentive,and they had awesome attitudes. I have been there before in Seattle and I did not have a good time. This was the best Steakhouse I have ever eaten at. My wife loved the food, and the drink. They even captured the moment as soon as we were settled at our table and ordered our drinks. The after dinner Coffee was to die for and the complimentary dessert was heavenly. I would definately go there again!!! What really made it special is that the Manager took the time out to come and visit with us. That was a sure sign of great customer service!"

Our server wasn't very attentive and didn't tell us about all available options (different sauces to accompany our steaks, side dish options, etc.). It also took a long while for us to receive our meal. It was busy so maybe that was the reason for the delay. Overall, is was a pleasurable dining experience and we will return and recommend to others."

Their steaks where high quality, Side dishes are more than enough for one person, they had a wide selection of Appetizers. The ambiance was also very adequate for a steak house; overall I had a great experience I must say it is a bit pricey but the quality of their good is well worth the price."
