The waiter was great, the food was outstanding, and there wasn't much of a wait. My only criticism is that we attempted to use the valet parking but we waited for several minutes for the valet to finish smoking his cigarette around the corner...but after awhile we gave up. As a result we drove around the corner and found street parking. Looking forward to our next visit!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA bit late for a 7:30 reservationA bit late for a 7:30 reservation because we could not locate the valet parking location and there are few through streets in that part of Bethesda that allow you to circle the block. Meters offer mostly 1 hour parking.
Still, table not ready when we arrived. My petit filet was quite dry and cooked a little more than medium rare. But these were the only issues.
RC always offers a wonderful dining experience and we will return again when we want to splurge and feel special. By the way, the waiter validates the valet parking when he brings the check...and your car is waiting when you exit the restaurant. You know it is expensive going in, but it was a very nice meal.

We chose to celebrate two family landmark events at Ruth's Chris for its superb steaks and comfortable ambiance. Our expectations were fulfilled.
We have one suggestion concerning the valet parking: place tent-like folding signs (as other shops have done) at Willow St., 46th and Oakridge St. directing drivers where to turn for the valet attendant. We were a few minutes late because we had to call the restaurant, then wind around the one way streets to get back to Wisconsin Ave. and make a u-turn to get to Willow.
Also, to help Open Table members, please include the cross street in the address and directions to the valet parking.

My favorite is the Cowboy Ribeye (what's a steak without a bone?). It is always prepared the way I ask (medium well) and tastes absolutely delicious. As for sides, the broccoli au gratin is it. Sure the other stuff is good but the broccoli is a stand out. My friends thought I was joking when I told them about it and forced them to order their own because I was unwilling to share.
