The hiccups here were that my wife's rib eye was ordered medium rare and came out rare - had to get another hot plate to finish it off at the table and my cowboy rib eye was not worth the extra $10 as it had a lot of fat on it and although it is 6 oz more than the regular rib eye, the fat and the bone make it less. Yes it tasted great but I will never order again. Potatoes au gratin was excellent! Location is great and free valet parking very nice. Service was good but not great. We ordered from the fixed price menu. My wife wanted to make one very small substitution. The waitress said she would have to ask the chef. She came back and said no. The creamed spinach that I usually get was runny. The manager did come to our table. He started to talk to us but was called away. He never came back. It was not a bad experience but just not what I was used for what you pay for at a Ruth Chris. We were given a private room that easily accommodated my entire family. Because we had two children in our party, the private room was even bette because they could be a little more relaxed without disturbing any other diners.
The service was excellent. The server was attentive, informative and very professional throughout our meal. By the time we were done, it felt like we had been friends for years.

Food was great, so was the service. The presentation was excellent, atmosphere really nice. Everyone of the staff were pleasant, accomodating and friendly. The steaks were outstanding. While the bar as well as the dining rooms were crowded it was only moments before we were served our beverages and upon finishing them we were led to our table where the exceptional service and great food experience was only enhanced by the attentiveness and professionalism of the entire waitstaff. Dinner was served at a comfortable and unhurried pace and everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and to our specifications.

Rose petals were scattered on the table as a special birthday touch. Our server, Jill came right over and took our drink order and told us the specials of the day. When she returned with our drinks, she took our dinner order. The food came out exactly as we asked for it. We all had NY Strip steaks and they were superb. The creamed spinach, broccoli, and mashed potatoes were delicious as well. The complimentary slice of chocolate sin cake was excellent. We love to come here on special occasions. Although there are amazing appetizers we learned not to go overboard by getting too many otherwise we'd never finish the main course. The Filet is excellent...melts in your mouth.
