The sides used to be big enough for 2-3 people...they have shrunk. Always over-the-top service, care and outstanding food!! Starting with my glass of Prosecco all the way to the complimentary and beautiful birthday dessert, it was such a lovely experience. The chopped salad is still one of my favs, but my son had the tomato, mozzarella, basil salad and it was delicious!! I love that you all cook my steak the way I like it and it is still piping hot all the way through and perfectly juicy. My server remembered that I love a glass of Riesling with my dinner and that was a special touch. All in all, it was a perfect experience. Table was too close to the bench.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMIssues at "Happy Hour"I recently went to RC during Happy Hour and ate from both the regular menu (soups) and Happy Hour menu (entrees/drinks). They have removed items recently from the latter. The Manhattan is no longer there, so be prepared to pony up $14 for a short-pour martini w/ a decent bourbon. Other cocktails range from $8 to $14...on a HAPPY HOUR menu. Other places in A'ville offer as good or better quality for less.
We had two delicious soups to start with - lobster soup ($12) and tomato bisque ($11). Though overpriced, they were outstanding. Great prices ($8) for a delicious filet steak sandwich and a prime burger. But, the burger was requested medium and came out VERY WELL DONE. We were not allowed to make any substitutions, unless we wanted to pay an extra fee. The charge for dinner was $62 per person, so we did not feel it was appropriate to charge us extra just to substitute a vegetable, which I find to be ridiculous. I did not care for the creamed spinach, and wanted to substitute the sauteed spinach instead, but we were told that was not possible without an upcharge. There should be more healthy sides on the 'special' menus, so people have a better choice. Everything else was delicious, especially the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly.
