We were immediately greeted through our Open Table reservations and seated at a table with a spectacular view. Our server was courteous and patient as this was my mother's first time dinning there. We had reservations for 12 pm, which is when the restaurant opened. We arrived about 20 minutes early and were kept waiting downstairs in the building lobby with two other families because the elevator to the 11th floor restaurant level did not operate to that level until noon. Some thought should be given to having the elevator operate at least 15 minutes prior to the first reservations, so that guests arriving a bit earlier can at least be in the restaurant waiting area as opposed to downstairs in the building lobby.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMRuth Chris - Food with a ViewThe food and service were top notch. Restaurant overlooks Reagan National Airport so you can watch planes takeoff & land. Service was great, but noise level in the restaurant made it difficult to have a conversation at our table. The view from the window gave us a view of Reagan Airport which was ok but you should definitely ask for a view of the Capitol. Of course the filet mignon was cooked perfectly. We arrived at 5:30, to enjoy the expansive view of DC, stayed through sunset and enjoyed the night view as well. They pampered us and made him feel very special. When we rose to leave, fireworks began outside the window-the Cherry Blossom Festival in SW had fireworks that night. If the Nats were playing a home game, they would probably have been visible too. The food has always been cooked perfect and delicious. This was the very first time our asparagus was served overcooked. Usually the asparagus is a bright green and crisp. We were very disappointed that our server even brought it out. The asparagus was a dull green and mushy. We had a wonderful time and the food was delicious, they cooked our meat perfectly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, not just for the food and service but also for the spectacular view. We had reservations at 6pm and we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of Arlington/DC. If you want a fairly nice view of DC, Reagan Airport, and the outlying Maryland area across the Potomac, this is perhaps one of the best restaurants for the view. The service was nice, though our server Clara, did not smile during all of our interactions; not very welcoming.

Every steak was cooked to perfection. The crabtini and creme brûlée were excellent additions. Seated one table away from the window, we still had a nice view.
