  • "The service here was excellent, they make sure you are really tended to the whole time. The appetizers were excellent as well as the sides. The only concern I had was the steaks. My party ordered the filets and hearing about Ruth Chris we were prepared for the best steaks of our lives. The steaks came out cooked exactly how we had wanted except the meat was not the quality we expected. For $44 a filet, I hoped it would slice through with ease except it was a bit tougher to cut it than we had planned. For the price of steak there it was not worth it, way too overpriced. Steaks at Outback Steakhouse are better in my opinion. The steaks quality was way overhyped and fell short of expectations most certainly. Appetizers were highlight of meal."

  • "It was the first time that my boyfriend and I had dined at Ruth's Chris Steak House. We were celebrating his birthday, and I must say, overall, we were very impressed. Our waitress Jessica was magnificent. She was polite, attentive, and well informed. The food was amazing! Our steaks were cooked to perfection (medium for the guy, well done for me).The only critique would be to the courtesy slice of cake that was provided for my boyfriend's birthday. Although we greatly appreciated the kind gesture, the cake itself was dry, lacking in flavor and very forgettable."

  • "The night started out wonderful. We had a great or server Kenneth was everything we could ask for. We ordered the Calamari, Cowboy Ribeye and Crab Cakes for dinner. The meal was well received. The issue was the Bread Pudding I order to-go. I prefer to chop it up before eating. After I had consumed half the dessert I notice this blue soft plastic-like material in the bread pudding. The definitely ruined a great evening of dinning. I provided this feedback on the Ruth Chris Web site but have not heard anything from them yet."

  • "Had fun with the family for wife birthday. Everyone and the food was great. Great for a special occasion. Easy to over due the great food. Only complaint is we were sat at a table in the bar area. We had our kids with us and of course as adults do at a bar the language was a little on the adult side. Not terribly bad and didn't kill the mode but make sure you specify you have kids in the reservation."

First they called to confirm our reservation, when we arrived we were greeted with “Happy Anniversary”, and everything just kept getting better. The food, atmosphere and service was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "Five us celebrating two birthdays, seated by the fireplace in an alcove. Very cozy and quiet. Had great service and specials that night. We started with a few appetizers. Fresh oysters! Shrimp scampi. Both were well presented and wonderful. I had the sea bass; it was huge and expertly prepared. Those having the filet claimed it was perfectly cooked and tender. One person had the steak and lobster tails (our server graciously offered to remove them from the shell). Delicious."

  • "Steaks are great. Wife got crab cake Which had red and green peppers finely diced over it. The strong taste of peppers overwhelms the crab. She had to pick them off, and it seemed small for $18. The service is efficient and prompt, but the waiters seem to be trained to recite a lot, most of which is to get you to spend more. A little "too much"."

  • "We visited this Ruth's Chris for my wife's birthday. Free valet parking is great. However, our table was not prepared and the hostess had to decorate it after we were seated. Our waiter treated us differently after we declined ordering a bottle of wine (we started with cocktails) and I ordered from the restaurant week menu. He never refilled our waters, didn't bring my wife a straw for her glass, didn't seem to notice me looking through the wine list before my entree (I had already told him I wanted wine with my meal), he didn't clear crumbs from our table before dessert, and he failed to ask if I wanted an after dinner drink (I did). He had plenty of time for the other tables in the section, frequently asking what they wanted. Disappointed"

  • "Went here to celebrate my birthday and take advantage of their Annapolis restaurant week menu. This is usually a top notch place for their food, but this was a BIG disappointment. The salad offered was not on their regular menu and was sparsely noted w/ walnuts, apples & blue cheese. It tasted and looked like it had sat in a mixing bowl in the kitchen for several hours. My steak (medium-rare) was somewhat undercooked, but by wife's (medium) was overcooked. We were seated in a room usually used for private large groups and had to experience the loud rudeness of another table of 12 who were not pleasant to the staff when they showed with several more people. A VERY disappointing experience and not up to their usual standards."

  • "We tried Ruth's Chris for restaurant week, and it seemed like most of Annapolis had the same idea. They were very busy. Our service was a little slow, the food was great, but not worth the price, even with the restaurant week discount. Paid $11 + $2 for a Grey Goose martini (probably the most I have ever paid for a drink!). Everything is a la carte, so with a drink, a baked potato and asparagus dish, split between us, and a $5 watery coffee, I paid $70 for my $32 dinner. The steak was the best part of the meal, but I don't think I will be back."

  • "I had the petit Filet Minon - 6oz., med. rare. Now I know what people mean when they say the steak melted in their mouth. This was the most tender, flavorful steak I've ever had. I've been to this Ruths Chris before but this was definitely the best steak ever. My date had the broiled sea scallops and was very pleased. She said they were "wonderful". The twist was I was expecting a side to be included with the entree. The sides were $10 ea, which is a bit pricey however, the portions are very large and incredibly good. We had two sides, asparagus and sweet potato casserole."

However, my food experience at the Annapolis location was less than par. I assume it was because it was restaurant week. The good was just okay and we had to wait a short while to be seated, despite our reservation."

  • "My wife and I don't get out a lot, but when we do, we like to go somewhere nice. Ruth's Chris didn't disappoint. We visited during restaurant week and decided to try that special menu. The apple, walnut, blue cheese salad was refreshingly good. My wife had the blackened scallops and I had the petite filet for our entree and both were fantastic. For dessert, the cheesecake was better than my chocolate espresso cake, but both were tasty. The wait staff was exemplary, as you would expect. Overall, very pleasant experience and we had a nice night out. Would definitely return. Also, first time I've ever had two meals and two alcoholic beverages in RC and the total bill was under $100!"
