We have dined there many times before and have always enjoyed our meal.

Arrived early for our reservation and was able to be seated right away. Very nice staff and excellent service. The food was good and the atmosphere conducive to whatever the occasion might be. I highly recommend this restaurant for your next celebration or just for a nice meal with family or someone special. Although this restaurant is located in a compact area, the valet parking made the visit so much easier to enjoy. Also, for those who might have physical limitations, there is an elevator available for use, just ask!!! My family will certainly be returning for another visit and don't think we'll wait for a special occasion.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Birthday!My wife and I enjoyed a perfect evening at Ruth's Chris celebrating her birthday! When I booked on Open Table I mentioned that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. When we arrived the Maitre' D wished my wife happy birthday and showed us to our table for 2 in a nice quiet part of the restaurant. After we were seated she sprinkled fresh rose petals on the table in honor of her birthday! Our server greeted us within a few seconds, went over some menu details & we were off to a great meal! The barbeque shrimp appetizer was incredible, the Cowboy steaks were unbelievable and the cheesecake and sin cake were fantastic! Could not have asked for a better experience! The filet was cooked exactly as requested. The tomato/crab soup special was good but nothing exceptional. The dessert (chocolate/raspberry cheesecake) was very good. We were seated at the front window with a view of the street and parking lot. I liked the window seat but there is nothing special to look at outside the window. Food was delicious and service, excellent. There was a group at the bar that were a bit noisy at times but not to the point of having to ask to be moved. It was very good, but not great. I cut the fat off my steak, and by the end of my meal I think about 20% of the steak was left on my plate as cut-off fat. I realize that fat marblizing in a steak is good, but this fat was cut from the sides. Anyway, I've had better NY Strip Steaks at other fine steak houses. The soup was cold and the service was not as good. This time around, the wait staff was very attentive. The soup was warm and verg good. From the valet who took out car, to the coat check girl, to the server, everyone was so polite and friendly. The manger came by twice to assure that we were having a nice time. Our server, Simon, was extremely professional and did everything he could to ensure an enjoyable evening. Our food was absolutely delicious. The steaks were perfectly cooked and tender. We will most definitely return to Ruth Chris!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMA Great Anniversary Celebration.We took our son and daughter to Ruth Chris for their 1st anniversary. It was excellent as always. One of the wonderful features, we were sat in a little alcove that had a fireplace. Our children loved it.
My husband and I have been to Ruth Chris for many of our own anniversaries and we always have loved it. We have taken each of our married children to Ruth Chris on their first anniversary. Going on Valentine's day is very romantic with good mood lighting and well spaced tables. Also, despite the quantity of people, the noise volume was surprisingly low, which is good.
The food itself is exactly what you'd expect from a Ruth's Chris. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides were equally amazing, and some of the largest portions I've gotten. They have even warned us that while the sides were portioned smaller on Valentine's Day, and it was still filling. You will not leave here hungry or disappointed.
The service was impeccable, and some of the best I've received from restaurants in this price range. I couldn't recommend this place mo2/14/2013 12:00:00 AMMy new favorite steakhouseI loved it, took my boyfriend here as a surprise for valentines day. I live in VA and my boyfriend is from Western MD. We both had steak, i had the filet mignon and he had the t-bone, with a baked potato and creamed spinach. Definetly loved the filet as there was less fat in the meat, everything was so delicious and filling. All the food came out piping hot which we loved. It was a great choice over all for a late night romantic dinner. They put us in a private area to ourselves which was nice and our waiter was excellent. Even the other waiters were checking up on us and delivering fresh bread and filling our glasses before we even had asked!
