The quiche was amazing and believe it or not the blueberry pancakes and sausage were seriously a step above what you would expect from pancakes and sausage. Yum! We also had drinks, dessert and coffee to other nights during our trip to NY and we'll continue to go back. Finally, my wife Cindy and I went there for our first anniversary. It made the occasion that much more memorable.
First, there was the atmosphere. About the only thing disappointing about it was that I expected to hear Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov, not Ravel and Beethoven (as much as I enjoy their compositions).
Then there was the food. We shared the borshch and a salad. Cindy had the beef stroganoff, while I had a daily special, which I guess was the Sakhalin Island version of sashimi. For dessert Cindy had the cheesecake, and I had a chocolate concoction. Both were superb.
And last but certainly not least, there was the vodka. I agree with some other reviews I've seen making remarks about how it's not loose leaf tea, which while not a show-stopper, is a bit confusing.
All that being said, the tea was actually good, and the experience itself was worth the expense.
