The food was phenomenal. You definitely get what you pay for, the higher prices are reflected in the food and the service and it wasn't even really that expensive. I had the Rack of Lamb and my wife had the petite Filet. They were both cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Upon entering Russel's Steaks, Chops and More we were greeted at the door by Russel Salvatore himself. We were seated at a very elegant and relaxing booth which had us sitting next to each other over looking the rest of the dining room. The food was incredible. We have both had steak and lobster before but this time it was different. We both left full and extremely satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant to any couple or family looking to celebrate or just for a nice evening out. It was our first visit to Russell's. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived. Our waiter was excellent. He made helpful suggestions and made sure we were completely satisfied with everything we ordered. The food was delicious. On Christmas Eve in 1971, I received my diamond engagement ring during a dinner at Salvatore's. Over the years we always chose that restaurant for special occasions. The food is always phenomenal and the service is outstanding. And we would always be so pleased when Russell stopped by our table to inquire about our meal & experience there! the last morsel. We had Mike one night and Andrew the second night as our server. They
both had a good sense of humor, and did everything to make our dinner totally enjoyable.
The food is always high quality and we had the 3 for $39 dinner special, Order the side order lobster
Mac and Cheese, you won't regret it. Tax and Tip all in was around $100. well worth it can't wait until

Love the ambiance! The only negative critique that we had was that we were in a back room for dinner. We both would have loved the main dining room next to one of the wall fireplaces. There are numerous outstanding eating establishments, in western New York, but none that compare in the total package. Russell's does not serve meals, it delivers
experiences. From being greeted by Mr. Salvatore to being seated and served by an interested staff, nothing is spared. Then, there is the meal. The food is prepared with only the best in steak and seafood, completely to your liking and served to you like a "king or queen" would expect. Whether your visit is a one time experience or you return on a regular basis, each time is just perfect.

The service was exceptional and food was spectacular. We purchased the dine and stay package and it was fabulous. We had a NY Strip Steak that was cooked to perfection and a Pork Chop that was so flavorful and tender you almost didn't need a knife. The room was very spacious (we rented the Royal Suite) and the fireplace was an added surprise. The celebration concluded with a breakfast buffet the next morning which offered something for everyone. The only disappointment of the entire stay was the bed. I would've expected the bedding to be a little more plush for the hotel but that is a personal preference.
