The decor is unusual and fascinating. Enjoyed the small dining room experience within a large restaurant. Genuine Caesar salad. Beautiful presentation of outstanding food. We had steak ala Russell - a gloriously tender and juicy filet mignon, prepared perfectly as ordered and topped with savory mushrooms. The dessert menu had a wide variety of choices and we were extremely pleased with the cannoli served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and smothered with bananas Foster.
The wait staff was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. The food unfortunately was a little better the last time I visited (my steak was not seasoned and was burnt). It was much busier this time, therefore that may have had an impact. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by both Mark and Robert and shown to our table. Next, our server Andrew introduced himself and recited the specials. For the rest of the evening, we were truly amazed at the outstanding service we received. It was flawless, strong and prompt. No detail was too small, no request a bother. I must also commend our busser Eric, who worked closely with Andrew to provide tag-team service that was as seemless as a well-choreographed dance. Both Andrew and Eric were enthusiastic, personable, professional and courteous, attentive without being intrusive.
