We've driven by this hidden gem SO many times and didn't realize it was there, so we decided to have dinner there to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary & the chef surprised us with an Happy Anniversary dessert :) The food was fabulous!! The only thing I wish is that we would have been able to dine in the loft, have seen many beautiful pictures.

We come here a few times a year and have settled into a happy routine: my friend has the double cut pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes, and I have the duck breast and risotto. There are other very pleasant things on the menu, but these always make us deeply happy and usually we don't get any further. Nor do we need to. Delicious. Their cocktails and wine list are also a pleasure, and their servers are attentive but not hovering. All in all, an enjoyable meal.

I love that someone has taken a historic farm that is now in the middle of an industrial area and has turned it into a fine dining establishment. Service was superb and the food was great. Thanks for the experience.

Pretty nice on the inside. I feel like the overall layout of the tables could have been different. The low divider walls could have been lower. We felt cramped in at a 2 top so the view of my girlfriend included the fire extinguisher and the thermostat; a constant reminder of being in a restaurant. The outside is a beautifully restored barn and it felt hotel-ish inside . Food was so good, service excellent they should have more than 2 beers on tap and should fill the pints all the way.

As folks who appreciate Seattle's great dining, we were first delighted to be able to bring our own favorite WA wines. Then the food started to come, beginning with some of the best bread with olive oil and balsamic dip we've ever tasted. Each course, whether it was salad, soup, entree or dessert, was delicious and beautifully presented. The scallops and salmon were perfection. And to top it off, the four of us shared two desserts--the creme brulee and the cheesecake with apples and cinnamon on top. OMG! Our server, Heather, was a jewel and even took the time at the end of dinner to take us upstairs to see the beautiful historic barn roof that tops the reception hall. Bothell is lucky to have Russell's and we can't wait to go back!

Our foursome all ordered the King Salmon - had to put it in caps because it was SO good. The room was filled with energetic guests, the weather was perfect and the food and service (as always) was top notch. Drinks from the bar were poured generously and were the perfect accompaniment to our meals. We were all stunned at the size of the entree portions - it made the meal a terrific value and we all finished with the peach cobbler a la mode. Located in a Bothell business park, Russell's is truly a diamond in the rough.

Met up some friends from the recent past. Plenty of enjoyable talk over a very good meal. Some of the diners at our table are vegetarians. Russell's menu and the accommodating server were able to make their dining a pleasure as well. Just wish restaurants had a 'quiet room' for conversation.

The only disappoint came with the Crab Cakes. They were blan and had almost no crab in them. However, on our previous visit about a month prior, they were so good that we ordered them as a dinner instead of just an appetizer. Go figure! Regardless, we will continue to support Russell's as all of our other meals have been excellent. We also really enjoyed our server, Laura as this was the second time she waited on us. We will continue to requested being seated at her table.

Service was quite slow in the beginning. It evened out during our stay and after a large table of people left the area. The wait person was pretty busy and I believe there are not enough waiters. I've been there before and had the steak, filet, both times. The first time it was superb, this last time the steak itself was wonderful but decidedly smaller. The vegies are always great. I certainly will come again and hope the service improves.

We came to Russell's for a special-occasion dinner, and enjoyed it very much. Our only complaint would be that the acoustics of the space make it a bit noisy. The service was a little slow, but not to a degree that we would consider problemmatic. However, we prefer being left alone to over-attentive service.

Four of us , had four different entrees. Steak, chicken and halibut were good but the salmon was not. They said it would be cooked on the rare side, but it was overcooked. It also had no flavor. Seating at our table was awkward with a pole right next to us, had to help waiters with the plates because they couldn't access that side of the table.

Went to Russell's for the first time to celebrate the 1st anniversary for our son and daughter-in-law. Food was very good and service was outstanding. Was a little surprised, however, at the prices. This was not a cheap dinner. $15 a glass for wine that I can buy a full bottle for under $30. Entrees in the upper $30 range. Everything was good, just won't be coming back for a regular night out dinner.

We were visiting Bothel and looking for a great meal. Open Table listed Russell's with good ratings. We made early reservations and away we went. Not easy to find. Located in the back area with no signs on the street. A quick circle led us to the front door. Promptly greeted and seated. Bar area was full of happy, but loud drinkers. Note the bar is partially open to the dining area. Noise in the dining area was somewhat loud. We were immediately greeted by a wonderful waitress. We started out with drinks that were mixed to our taste. Followed by crab cakes to die far. I am use to the flat patties style from Louisiana. These were thick and juicy. Great sauce. Wife had Mussells. She enjoyed them. We completed the meal with salads and lamb.

At Russell's, you can count on top quality, unpretentious food that is well prepared and quality, gracious service. Russell's has become a favorite of ours. They don't go overboard with trendy, odd food preparations like so many better restaurants now do. We like the atmosphere--classy but not at all stuffy, and casual at the same time. You can dress up or down for this place and fit in just fine. I love the sea scallops, but the pork chop is also a winner. One comment is that the spinach salad could use more of the other stated ingredients (almonds, cranberries, pancetta), which are barely discernible, to brighten the flavor and make it more enjoyable. Overall, we are big fans of Russell's and will keep coming back.

We have dined at Russell's a few times before and found the food lacking. Since we often hear people talking about it we thought we would try one more time. We had the halibut and the vegetable Napoleon. The halibut was overdone and dry. The vegetable dish was bland. The charcuterie plate before dinner was good. We thought this meal was the best we had had there but overall we feel all dishes were unremarkable. We won't be making the drive to this out of the way restaurant for average food again.
