Went to Russells for a birthday celebration with family (adult children, no little ones). We had an early reservation so enjoyed the quiet and calm before the true dinner rush. The food was enjoyable, the atmosphere pleasant and the service nice. A very pleasant evening. We would definitely go back.

We've dined at Russell's numerous times and always had a great meal with excellent service. The double cut pork chops are amazing, as is the daily special whatever it is. Great idea of no charge corkage fee for Washington wines.

Service was poor. We had to pour our own wine, wait way to long for dinner, beg for bread and then were served very hot vegetables and very cold scallops. Super disappointing.

Started with a cheese, meat, fruit platter and it was amazing. Partner had the scallops for dinner and they were great as well. I had the pork chop and even my partner raved about it and said he will order that next time (he doesn't normally like pork chops). The bread they serve at the table is so good and obviously home made. The only disappointment was the dessert. We ordered the caramel chocolate ganache tart...sweet but dry and kind of crumbly. We thought it would be smooth. Wish we had tried one of the other desserts. Will try the crème burlee, or bread pudding next time. Will definitely go again. Very pleased with the food with the exception of the dessert.

We come here a few times a year and have settled into a happy routine: my friend has the double cut pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes, and I have the duck breast and risotto. There are other very pleasant things on the menu, but these always make us deeply happy and usually we don't get any further. Nor do we need to. Delicious. Their cocktails and wine list are also a pleasure, and their servers are attentive but not hovering. All in all, an enjoyable meal.

Limited menu but food was above average. Very quite but excellent service. I tried the Prawn fettuccini which was in a very rich white sauce. A little to heave for me but tasty. Had to turn it into to meals as too rich. Also had the mushrooms which were fresh and season very nicely.

Pretty nice on the inside. I feel like the overall layout of the tables could have been different. The low divider walls could have been lower. We felt cramped in at a 2 top so the view of my girlfriend included the fire extinguisher and the thermostat; a constant reminder of being in a restaurant. The outside is a beautifully restored barn and it felt hotel-ish inside . Food was so good, service excellent they should have more than 2 beers on tap and should fill the pints all the way.

As folks who appreciate Seattle's great dining, we were first delighted to be able to bring our own favorite WA wines. Then the food started to come, beginning with some of the best bread with olive oil and balsamic dip we've ever tasted. Each course, whether it was salad, soup, entree or dessert, was delicious and beautifully presented. The scallops and salmon were perfection. And to top it off, the four of us shared two desserts--the creme brulee and the cheesecake with apples and cinnamon on top. OMG! Our server, Heather, was a jewel and even took the time at the end of dinner to take us upstairs to see the beautiful historic barn roof that tops the reception hall. Bothell is lucky to have Russell's and we can't wait to go back!

Our foursome all ordered the King Salmon - had to put it in caps because it was SO good. The room was filled with energetic guests, the weather was perfect and the food and service (as always) was top notch. Drinks from the bar were poured generously and were the perfect accompaniment to our meals. We were all stunned at the size of the entree portions - it made the meal a terrific value and we all finished with the peach cobbler a la mode. Located in a Bothell business park, Russell's is truly a diamond in the rough.

The only disappoint came with the Crab Cakes. They were blan and had almost no crab in them. However, on our previous visit about a month prior, they were so good that we ordered them as a dinner instead of just an appetizer. Go figure! Regardless, we will continue to support Russell's as all of our other meals have been excellent. We also really enjoyed our server, Laura as this was the second time she waited on us. We will continue to requested being seated at her table.

Service was quite slow in the beginning. It evened out during our stay and after a large table of people left the area. The wait person was pretty busy and I believe there are not enough waiters. I've been there before and had the steak, filet, both times. The first time it was superb, this last time the steak itself was wonderful but decidedly smaller. The vegies are always great. I certainly will come again and hope the service improves.

We came to Russell's for a special-occasion dinner, and enjoyed it very much. Our only complaint would be that the acoustics of the space make it a bit noisy. The service was a little slow, but not to a degree that we would consider problemmatic. However, we prefer being left alone to over-attentive service.

Four of us , had four different entrees. Steak, chicken and halibut were good but the salmon was not. They said it would be cooked on the rare side, but it was overcooked. It also had no flavor. Seating at our table was awkward with a pole right next to us, had to help waiters with the plates because they couldn't access that side of the table.

Went to Russell's for the first time to celebrate the 1st anniversary for our son and daughter-in-law. Food was very good and service was outstanding. Was a little surprised, however, at the prices. This was not a cheap dinner. $15 a glass for wine that I can buy a full bottle for under $30. Entrees in the upper $30 range. Everything was good, just won't be coming back for a regular night out dinner.
