"This was the second time that my husband and I visited Russell's. The first time was our Anniversary (July) and we were treated very well. They gave us a prime table and dessert. My husband really wanted to go back for the crab legs since we were in Vail again (March). This time we had our 3 year old son with us. I wouldn't recommend for young kids. It wasn't bad, just not really a "kid" place. Our server was very nice and food was as good as we remembered. Will be back the next time we are in Vail."

"This was our second visit to Russel's, three years from the first. We were looking forward to it and hoped it to be as good as the last. Unfortunately, maybe it being towards the end of the season, our waitress was very obviously not wanting to be there. She had ZERO service skill and was awkward and abrupt. We could ignore this with a great food experience, but it was just "ok." I had a NY Strip, and my fiancee a filet, both were 'ok'."

"As usual, great trout. I wonder if it is impossible for them to get it wrong. They made a special sauce for us for the fish, too. Anne, our waitress, was terrific, too. They were unexpectedly busy but it was still a fun time and all worked well."
