"We came for restaurant week but got so excited about the food options that we ordered off the regular menu! Don't be scared of the pig's head cake - it's delicious! The drink options were intriguing and the beer list doesn't disappoint. We WILL return!"

"I've been to The Russel House Tavern a few times now and each time find the service to be friendly, the waitstaff is great and the hostesses are very nice. Everything I've had has been great and reasonably priced. One of my favorite places to eat in Harvard Square."

"Overall, very good food but we did have some difficulty when we got there. The first hostess sent us downstairs, which opened up into a great bar/restaurant area. We waited there for about ten minutes and then we were sent back upstairs to a different area. I'm not sure if that was because we look under 21 or because they were very busy."
