  • "A great spot for drinks and for dinner. Beautiful dining room and very attentive staff. The Parrilla is a work of art. Be sure to order from the grilled items section. Short ribs and asado mixto were delicious. The carpaccio de pulpo appetizer is a must order - paper thin slices of octopus with malbec chips. Also, best flan in the city. So good we ordered it twice!"

  • "I took my parents here as a thank you for helping me move, and we decided to go crazy and try a variety of things. We were in a little section that had a table off from the rest of the main area and loved the privacy. The food was absolutely amazing and I think the worst thing we said about a dish was that it was just "good." But there were several dishes that could be listed among some of the greatest dishes we've ever tried. The carrots were out of this world, and the pizza we got was was absolutely divine. A little expensive to make it a frequent stop, but this is going onto the top of my list for special occasions!"

  • "Maybe our best DC dining experience this year! A needed Philly import. Quiet summer Sunday night. Nicely designed, multiple seating options; bar, porch, main dining room, and very special private niche tables. Service professional, appropriately friendly, on the spot. A pleasure! Waiter explained dishes, drinks as needed and briefly. Cocktail/wine list were fab. Nice pacing to the meal; 4 people shared 3 starters, very good bread/spreads, 2 pasta small plates (actually VERY large), 3 sides, 2 orders excellent rib eye and 2 desserts. LOTS of food, fine doggie bag next day. All great; standouts of steak, roasted peppers, roasted mushrooms. Cannot go wrong with food off that magnificent grill. Go now when you can still get a reservation!"

  • "We ate here a little over a week after the restaurant opened. It's a lovely restaurant, although as a short person, I found the chairs pretty uncomfortable -- too high off the ground. We got our cocktails and appetizers in pretty short order, but then waited about 45 minutes to an hour for our other dishes. The waiter was apologetic but seemed unable to move things along. We spoke to the manager, who was very apologetic and accommodating, and ended up comping most of our meal, which was really the only right thing to do. We asked what had happened, he said our ticket got buried among a slew of new tickets. Which of course is not acceptable kitchen management. The comping was appropriate, though."

  • " This Argentinian gem was just the place. Everytime we try someplace new it is a disaster at first, then after time works the kinks out and is pretty decent. This place is spot on in every way. Looks good, service fantastic, food fabulous, better than we ever expected, attention to detail all evening. We were there three and one half hours and eating all that time. We had charcuterie, empanada tucamana, bresaola,picana,pomplona, sorrentino, setas, one order of nury that was sooooo good we ordered another right away, chocotorta, 2 bottles of B. Vincent Delapo,Sancerre Wine, assorted cocktails. We had a great time, and our server Alex was the best- no glitches, no delays, no sending back food. We can not wait to go again."

  • "Anyone from Philly will tell you that Garces has filled the city with numerous places to have fun, amazing meals with friends and family. I could not be happier that he chose DC to open a new restaurant. The place is unlike any other in the city and has an awesome hearty vibe that resonates throughout the place and menu. Everything we tried was delicious with the homemade chorizo being at the top of our list. Perfect place for a full meal or a drink/app after work. Cant wait to go back again!"
