Food was good but not up to this restaurant's usual quality. Two of the four specials were not available. The turkey and stuffing were dry. Given it was Easter Sunday, I chalked it up to a holiday event not the usual standard but would hesitate to return on a holiday.

I'm not giving up on Runyons, but Friday's meal was perhaps the worst I've ever had at this local bar. For years Runyon's has had the very best bar food around. So, what is happening? New chef? Lazy management?
My prime rib special (ordered med rare) came out like a piece of leather that had been left out in the sun far too long. The meat tasted like it had been reheated a dozen times...Soup which once was the best on Long Island was fair at best.
Let's give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Runyon's - I want to like you! Please get your act back together

Tonight was the first time that we had a disappointing evening at Runyons. It was busier than what we had seen in a while (great for the restaurant) but the service was very off. We were seated in a timely manner but ended up having the hostess take our order as the waitress was weeded. After taking a while, the kitchen sent out our dinners before our salads and soup. Not one of the smoothest evenings...but we will return.
