The tenderloin, which I expected to be dry and tough (that has been my experience with kebab meats), was so tender and juicy I could not believe it. Cut with the side of your fork. Seriously. And DELICIOUS! Serviced with lovely light fluffy fragrant rice.
Also had the Rumi's Orange Spice cocktail, which is a delicious combination of bourbon, orange, anise and clove. I wanted another but the table decided on wine. I'll definitely be ordering that again!
We were worried about service based on some yelp reviews, but it turns out our fears were groundless. Our server was a smart, attentive young woman who took great care of us. In fact, it is a standout period. We have visited several times- in small and large groups, Each dish is meticulously prepared and excellent. The shrimp kebob is indescribably good. The lamb dishes are succulent. The service is attentive and friendly, without being obtrusive. I gave them their choice of restaurant in Atlanta and this was their pick. I spoke to them later that night and they just raved and raved about how wonderful it was, the food, service..everything. The kabobs are wonderful, as is the rice that comes with the. They recently moved to a much larger place, it's not as charming, but it's not as crowded either. And if you haven't tried it, this is a great place to check it out. The decor is great, comfortable yet chic. The bar menu has some unusual & delicious concoctions (loved the Tehran Mule). If you want a big meal you will not be disappointed, but they kindly split the Soltani for us which was more than enough to fill us. Some of the best chicken Barg I've ever had! Took my friend (dentist from NYC) for lunch and he loved the food and ambience.
Took my wife and 7 year old daughter for dinner and the whole experience was marvelous.
Although we did not have a reservation on a super busy Saturday night, we were given a table within 5 minutes.

The new location is spacious and beautifully appointed. The food is consistently delicious. The Kabobs are always our favorite with the wood fire grill flavors! One of the few places that will gladly bring you their complimentary appetizer. We were seated within 15 min of our reservation (the rest of our party was a little late). Restaurant was busy, but comfortable. A little loud initially, but quieted down toward 10pm. Service was good, just the right amount of attentiveness. Food was very good and large portions. All of us took part of our meal home. A seasonal cocktail from the drinks menu was so delicious that I skipped wine with dinner in favor of a second peach martini. The lamb sliders to start were scrumptious, but we soon learned a starter was unnecessary as the dinner portions were insanely generous. The chicken was so tender and tasty. My husband had the sea bass, also savory and memorable.
