Rudy & Paco Restaurant & Barour first visitFor some reason, we have not been there before. It was a wonderful dining experience. The food great, the service just right(not too much or too little) and plenty of time by the staff for us. Obvious they wanted to please us in every way which they did. We will look forward to going back and making it one of our go-to restaurants. Many choices to consider. Just hope I can deviate from that fabulous NY strip. He makes you feel like the most important guest in the place and he remembers everyone. The staff is well-trained and he is an ultimate professional. The restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine. The food is always top-notch and I love all the fish dishes, but the absolute stand-out is the Tres Leches Cake. My husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary here on a Monday night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Service was excellent and the chef prepared wonderful meals. I should mention that regardless of the fact we dined on a Monday, I do not think that busier nights would sacrifice this high level of quality. It is evident that certain standards are expected of staff because the owner supervised all operations and greeted patrons at the front door. I look forward to dining there again and now understand why reservations are necessary. The food is always excellent and the service also. I love the presentation of food when the waiters (all dressed in black) exit the kitchen in a line, each carrying one entree, and circle your table, then each place your entree before you at the same moment. It's such a nice touch. If you have theatre tickets, they take special care to time your dinner so you can make the performance. Meal started with a cocktail, a perfectly made Manhattan (made with Makers Mark no less!) I went with one of the restaurants favorite dishes as recommended by the wait staff. The fish was just outstanding, although the accompanying brussels sprouts could have used a bit more seasoning. During the meal, we were visited by both owners, I love to see this kind of sincere caring from people whose name is on the door. Interior is classic, tables are well spaced, and despite being pretty full, my dinner companion and I could have a great private conversation at the table with no disruption.

Many locals seemed to enjoy this spot for fine dining. We were from out of town and enjoyed immensely. A wonderfully Latin and South American influenced fare. Everything was fresh and enjoyable, from the well prepared drinks, to the immaculate presentation, to the detail to fine service, to the relaxing feeling.
