Private Party Facilities: Our Private Boardroom seats up to 20 guests and features an elegant glass chandalier, fireplace mantel and handsome oak paneled and grasscloth walls adorned with framed original artwork. This space is ideal for business luncheons, birthdays, baby showers, rehearsal dinners. Our bright, spacious Private Dining Room seats 60 to 70 dinner guests, or 100 cocktail/reception guests. This space can be arranged for everything from Wedding Receptions, Rehearsal Dinners to Large Corporate Meetings/Dinners, Concerts and Fundraising Events.

"Very accomodating. I requested a back corner table (1st date)and was impressed that the hostess took us to the exact table I was looking for. Service was outstanding and the food was great, as always. I will be having brunch @ Rudi's on Easter Sunday with 13 of my family members. Looking forward to it?"

"Delicious brunch with interesting Restaurant Week menu. Wonderful food with pretty presentation. Lovely jazz music in the bar area. The setting is warm and inviting. Our waitress, Maureen, was top-notch. Parking readily available. Great location. Great choice for us! Sure to return soon."

"Our second Sunday Jazz Brunch experience was as good as the first. We went with different friends and they really enjoyed Rudi's too; we're planning to go back for dinner sometime. French Toast was delicious, Veggie Omlet too, as was the Downeast Scramble and Meat Omlet. And we were fortunate to get Chris as our waiter again. He helped make it a fun experience. And the music was good too!"

"I found Rudi's here on Open Table and decided to try it based on the excellent reviews. We enjoyed everything from the bread to the last glass of wine. Ben was a very good waiter with a great personality and he seemed to enjoy his job. We will definitely try it again !"

"Always one of my favorites in Portsmouth. This day I was with a group of 5 and it was nice to be somewhere where we weren't cramped into a table with the 5th person being stuck on the end. We had a comfortable banquette where we all fit with plenty of room. We had an great lunch, good food, good service and a nice girls afternoon out. I'll be going back for lunch in a few days..."

"Our first time at Rudi's was a great experience. We went for Sunday jazz brunch and all four of us loved our meals: the Downeast scramble was exceptionally good; all fresh OJ including in my Mimosa; and even the coffee was good. We had a really nice waiter, Chris. Music was good too, though sometimes the conversation level in the dining room made it hard to hear. But we already have plans to go back for brunch with other friends."

"The atmosphere is elegant and open. The grapefruit martini is amazing, but sadly the food was a miss. My dining partner and I ordered two appetizers each, the crab cakes, chicken satay, brie and fig ravioli. Of the four, the only one I'd order again is the ravioli. The brie was hot hot enough for the cheese to ooze out like it should, the crab cakes had an odor and were just mush, and sadly the chiken satay was dry. After we ordered dessert, creme brulee and coconut ice cream. The ice cream was excellent, but the creme brulee lacked that nice flamed ceust on top and wasn't warm enough. Seems to be a temperature issue going on there. I may givw them another chance because aervice was adequate and drinks were great, but maybe no food."
