   Took my wife and daughter to RPM Steak for Mother’s Day, and it was a perfect experience from start to finish. The service was polished but still warm — they really made the occasion feel special for my wife, which I appreciated. The vibe of the place is upscale without being stiff, just a great spot for a memorable dinner. I had the 28-day aged cowboy steak — hands down one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly, rich flavor, every bite was a reminder of why you go to a place like RPM. My wife had the salmon, which was equally impressive — fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. Top-tier food, great atmosphere, and thoughtful service. RPM delivered across the board. Worth every penny.

   Everything was excelent, but the noise is much high , at 15:30 they start to put the lights off , we dont know why as it was a mom’s day. 🤷🏻‍♀️but the service and specially the food was very, very good! I think it was the best meat restaurant in Chicago that we had been.

   The food was good but you can tell over the years that RPM is skimping on portion size and quality. The prices don’t match the food anymore and value is diminished. First sitting was at 12pm for Mother’s Day and you could not go into the bar before or get a cocktail. Opening and sitting are both exactly at 12pm. Didn’t care for that. Overall still good place but not great like it used to be.

   High end restaurant. Food was fine but overpriced for it tasted. $100 steaks were good but not over the top. Nothing special about the veggies. The king crab ap was tasty but only a morsel for over $50. Choc cake was good but again not unusually special. Service was great! Ambience was pleasant. Have had better meals for a whole lot less.

   RPM is an experience - our waitress and the wine expert were excellent. It was disappointing when we walk in on time and wait for 15 minutes only to go to one of the only booths with a neighboring one occupied where a patron was leaning into our booth and openly cursing in front of other staff. Again out waitress and the wine expert were excellent and made the visit enjoyable, but I would spend $250 per person somewhere else in the future.

   Food was above average quite tasty. Service could have been better. Having to remind your server to fill glasses gets old after the 3rd 4th time. They want the big tips but don’t want to work for it.

    We are so glad we chose to dine at RPM for our only night in Chicago. When I made the reservation I noted it was our anniversary. From that moment on they went above and beyond to make the evening special for us. The service was impeccable and the food and drinks were fantastic.
