They brought complimentary prosecco for everyone waiting, which was nice. We were seated around 8. When we were seated a manager came by and apologized and brought out a few sample things to munch on. We ordered some drinks and decided on some food. We ended up ordering the truffle garlic bread and the zucchini frites. I would get both again, although the portion of the bread was too large for 3 girls. The zucchini was a great starter for the group. We couldnt decide on what to order next, and created a plate of 2 meats and 2 cheeses. I love Juliana and Bill's show and saw that they opened a restaurant. I just had to go and I was not disappointed. The prawns were the best. I will definitely be back.

The food was very good, however, the servings were extremely small. I ordered the Maine Lobster Ravioli which had a nice flavor but was served 5 small ravioli. We also ordered the traditional Spaghetti and Meatball. It was also very good but by no means was it too much! We joked that the servings were so small that they were the appetizers for dinner later somewhere else! We also shared the Tiramisu which was delicious but also very small. The hostess carried our cocktails to our table and soon thereafter our appetizers arrived and they were delicious.The small plates we ordered were wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful, the team service approach is enjoyable and the food is fantastic. Well, I guess I shouldn't speak for the whole menu, but the food we ordered was fantastic - Truffle Oil Garlic Bread, Mama DePandi's Bucatini Pomodoro, Grilled Parmesan Asparagus and, of course, a Peach Bellini.

Things went downhill from there. For entrees, we ordered the spicy king crab squid ink spaghetti, the short rib pappardelle, the fish special for the night (halibut), and a side of grilled asparagus. I really enjoyed the squid ink pasta - just enough spice and very flavorful, and the veggies were good, too. Unfortunately, the short rib pasta and fish were underwhelming. The desserts were just OK. The food was delicious, the service was lovely (I gave our server a thank you hug, that's how lovely), and at the close of the meal, I was given a Mother's Day card with a $25 gift card to return, as well as coupons for other affiliated restaurants (i.e., Hub 51, The Paris Club, etc.) As someone of Italian descent, I have high standards for Italian food, especially items described as "family recipes." Everything here exceeded our expectations, and the special gnocchi on the brunch menu was most certainly as tasty as our family recipes. I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. I've been a Mom for 32 years, so many years ago I decided that Mother's Day was not a day to go out for dinner, what with the crowds, etc. But, our reservation was honored to the minute at RPM and both food, service, attention, did I say food... were fabulous!!! Loved sharing the small delicious plates of Italian home-made yumminess with my husband and adult kids. Try the shaved brussel sprout salad; it is amazing with the avocado added!
