The Roy's in Pasadena CA. is in my opinion the best Roy's outside of Hawaii. Run don't walk to this restaurant. The pork satay had just enough fat to give it great flavor. The steak (medium well) was soft and flavorful. The bread pudding was tasty without being overly sweet. Nice ambiance. Came for pre-theater dinner. We were seated promptly, got to the theater with time to spare and never felt rushed. Easy walking distance to the Pasadena Playhouse. The bar is VERY popular with the locals as they have extended Happy Hour specials. Hard to hear anything due to the bar noise. I mentioned our celebration in the notes of my reservations on open table. Normally, most restaurants ignore the notes. NOT ROY'S! They were so great.
