The noise was so loud we couldn't hear each other, and immediately asked for another table. The Manager moved us into a smaller room which was filled with adults having conversation, which we enjoyed very much. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the food, preparation, etc. as were other waiters addressing diner's questions. The Manager checked in with us to see that all was satisfactory. Our meal was excellent, high qualify, excellent preparation. I had the Ono and my husband had the salmon. Both were wonderful. This restaurant scored a hat-trick: The appetizer, entree, and dessert were all AMAZING and so delicious. The Kung Pao Calamari was the best we ever tried. Both the Mahi Mahi and the Shutome were delicious and perfectly prepared. The presentation was great. We finished off with the Strawberry Bread Pudding and the Chocolate Souffle. Our servers Dave and Russell were outstanding. The service provided was attentive, timely, and not rushed. We expressed our complements to the manager Sid who kindly greeted us and checked on our meal. It's an energetic atmosphere and found it great for a romantic dinner for two. I had the surf and turf - everything was prepared as requested exactly. My guest enjoyed some Ahi tuna - again - perfect and delicious. The molten chocolate (souffle) is a must for dessert!

Starting with the cocktails the coconut mai tai and the margarita were very tasty and fresh. The appetizer for two was excellent. The lobster potstickers were delicious. For dinner we shared the wahoo and the butterfish. Roys butterfish is a standard for us and it was as good as ever. Our son got the short ribs and it was a generous portion for the kid's menu. We ended the evening with the molten chocolate cake; a Roy's tradition and it was just as good as ever. Perfect professional and very knowledgeable. We started out at the bar waiting a few minutes for our table and had a 1988 i believe it was called with lichee liquor and my wife had the pineapple martini. Both very tasty as we had two more. They are very attentive to all your needs and remember your preferences and any dietary restrictions you may have. They have great Sushi as well as unique fish entrees (we only eat fish). We were celebrating my husband's birthday and they made it very special as they always do, from the Happy Birthday note when he opened his menu to the picture they took as a remembrance for us. Roy's is definitely one of our favorite restaurants to dine for those two reasons alone. Our waiter Ryan was friendly, humorous, and attentive; he answered all of our questions with finesse and added to our overall experience. One of the things we love about Roy's is if you cannot decide between two menu items they will happily allow you to order 1/2 of each on one plate, so you can sample more of the amazing dishes they have to offer-- it is well worth it!
