A souvenier photo printed for each couple in their own frame was sweet. Speaking of sweet...the dessert was specially inscripted with a happy birthday message that was perfectly formed - nice touch. The service was great and I love the atmosphere. He had sushi and I had the Hanger Steak. Our food was really great as far as taste and presentation. But I must confess the portions were a bit small and for paying over $100 for dinner (with drinks),I expected to not leave hungry. Their mixed cocktails are quite tasty as well. Had the pineapple upside down cake and chocolate souffles for dessert. Portions are about right-on the smaller side. The dishes were quite inventive. The pork jowls were a take-off on Loco Moco and were very good.
The only drawbacks are the open kitchen and the noise level. Open kitchens in my mind detract greatly from a dining experience, and the noise level made conversation at our table difficult.

Was dining with a vegetarian. That menu was limited but she was pleased with her choices. The risotto was fantastic and I would order it myself. My meal was very good, ordered the pork shank special, only the mac and cheese side was disappointing.
