  • "I never see anyone else ordering this, but the Roy's Lobster Pot Pie is a real treat. It does take a while for it to arrive. Ordered it twice - average time to table is about 20 minutes. Time enough for a drink and awkward conversation. Packed with lobster and sauce that is just a bit spicy, it comes out hot and you cannot wait to dig in. But...you need to let it cool down for a bit. We put a couple of spoonfuls on a side plate so we can get started quicker. The top crust is flakey and not overpowering."

The service was extraordinary from the front door to the servers and the support wait staff. Save room for dessert the chocolate soufflé and pineapple upside down cake was incredible."

  • "This was our first time. I have several friends who really like Roy's. The restaurant is nice, and the service was excellent but the food was somewhat lacking in flavor. We started with the pot stickers and ahi roll, which were ok but nothing special. My wife had the Macadamia Nut Mahi Mahi, which didn't really have much flavor at all. I had the short ribs, again ok but not much on the flavor. We tried each other's dishes and have very different palates (she's mild/I'm spicy) and neither of us was really impressed with either dish. Another person had the Filet, which they said was very good. The cheesecake and chocolate soufflé were excellent. Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen. I'll debate another visit. "

Our entire party thourghly enjoyed themselves, there was a mix up on our cocktail order, but that was a minor detail considering the filet mignon was cooked to perfection, and the dessert soufflé was a decadent treat. Looking forward to a return visit."

The ambiance was fairly casual but we did not feel out of place dressed up in a suit for myself and an evening dress for my lady. The food was amazing, we will definitely be back."

  • "Dining at Roy's is always a treat. The atmosphere is quiet & romantic. The service is prompt, but not rushed. The dishes are creative and deliver maximum taste. For this visit we enjoyed the restaurant week special which was a 3 course meal for $30/pp. The potstickers & Mahi roll appetizers were oh so tasty. She had the macadamia crusted mahi mahi entrée which was done to perfection while I tried the braised short ribs. I usually prefer my meat medium rare, so this probably wasn't the best choice for me, but it was still enjoyable. The desserts were absolutely amazing. We don't usually get them, but it was part of the special and boy are we glad....Overall you can't go wrong here. It's like dining on vacation in Hawaii...mahalo!"

Decaf coffee afterwards was not hot but readily corrected by our server. Ambience is romantic. If a special occasion, they take a picture of the party and give you a complimentary desert. Better than the one in Honolulu, I think."

  • "We had a very delicious meal. I had petite filet and lobster - cooked to perfection. My husband had short ribs and the meat fell off the bones. So wonderful! They also have a gluten free menu or will make your dinner to taste. We always do special occasion dinners at Roy's. Special occasions are celebrated if you tell them a head of time. It was my boyfriends birthday and they took a picture and printed a copy for us! I really enjoyed dining here. However, that did not transpire and we instead got an older waiter that was not very unprofessional. Food was tasty, however, the portions are too small for how much they charge for entrees."

We were graciously seated at our table & our waiter, Eric, was the epitome of what skills a server should possess-politeness, outgoing, courteous, knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, & never made us feel rushed or like we were a bother. The food, from the house made cinnamon buns that were brought to each table in place of ordinary rolls to dessert, we were thoroughly pleased with our meal & choice of restaurants."

  • "I've been going to this Roy's since it opened and recently it's been going downhill. I booked Easter brunch with my brother and wife figuring that it would be awesome. With my brother battling cancer and being on chemo food is a luxury and Roy's is his favorite. Maybe I better say was. The food was good but the service and competency of the server was non existent. Roy's needs to hire trained professional personal. Focused on quality service and knowing the menu. Our waiter was distracted, answered questions with descriptions of other items. He reached across the table several times. I asked him if he wanted to serve us and he responded with "why". I should have moved or asked for another waiter, my wife is very kind but now disappointed. "
