  • "The food at Roy's was terrific. We live close and had not been back in a long time. Our past experiences had not been good. But after several people told us it had improved so we decided to give them another try. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding. Our service left something to be desired. We realize it is in season but the restaurant should have known that. Our server did not seem to have a lot of experience. Besides all that we would definitely go back. The food was so good."

We brought our 4 year old daughter and they served her a kid friendly appetizer right after we sat down, which she loved and the kids menu is filled with healthy options our daughter loved her meal!"

  • "This was our fourth time to Roy's in six weeks with different guests. As always, the service is terrific. The food, my fourth different entree, was delicious. I always pose the question to our guest "Would you order your entree again?" In four visits and 16 guests later the answer is always a resounding YES! Congrats to the Chef, management and staff for making our dining experiences memorable for our friends and family."

  • "I went to Roy's with 2 friends to celebrate our birthdays.The food was outstanding, and there were a few surprises too. Our server took a photo of the 3 of us, and when dinner was over, he presented each of us with the photo. We also received a printed certificate as a birthday souvenir, but best of all, we each received a free dessert ... the molten lava cake ... best dessert of all time! Our experience at Roy's was absolutely wonderful."

  • "The TNT is the best fish I have ever had and they don't serve it at the downtown location....weird. So we go here, but there I no outdoor seating yet and the lights are always really low. All of us had to use the flashlight on our phones to read the menu. They did finally turn the lights up, but still is dark in there. The food is fantastic nod the service is good."

  • "I am usually a 5 star reviewer for Roy's but this visit was surprising. Our server was apparently someone who had been there for 14 years yet we have never seen him before. He was a fair waiter but he really lacked the attentiveness of every other server we have had at Roy's. We had to wait for drinks, he didn't ask us about the soufflé or special dessert until after we ate which meant we would have had to wait another 25 minutes. The food was outstanding however and so our dinner was very enjoyable. This was such a departure from our normal experience with Roy's that I had to make the comment."

  • "I have always picked Roy,s for any special occasions here in southwest Florida and once again had a beautiful experience on Tuesday, March 25. The only glitch was my communication when making my reservation did not contain my daughter,s birthday celebration but the staff at Roy,s rectified the error and the only thing missing was the special welcome letter to my daughter. The whole dining experience was, as usual, top notch and I am looking forward to another celebration in April."

  • "I had requested a quiet table since I know that the restaurant can be noisy. We were taken to a table in a smaller room separated from the main dining area. It was so loud and very, very cold. We asked for a table in the main dining area and were taken to a perfect corner table. The TNT Corvina , a white, mild fish with a sauce that has some heat was delicious. The scallops and the filet, done perfectly, were also good. Our server was very attentive and knowledgable about the wines and the different food preparations. The food and service at Roy's in Bonita Springs is consistent and the reason that we return year after year when visiting Florida."

  • "I have been to Roy's in Hawaii and Florida for many reasons, mostly business but this one was for my girlfriends B-Day with friends. It was the best visit yet. The staff made it the BEST (personalized) celebration we could have enjoyed......Five stars......and I don't rate easy!!!! And the dinner and appetizers were the top three (3) dinners I have had!!!!!! I entertain with business all over the country.....by far the best! Well done Roy's in Bonita Springs, FL!!!!!"

  • "Just when I thiought I knew what to expect, Roy's made our special occasion even better. We chose Roy's to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary because they've never disappointed us. They tucked us into a quiet corner and gave us a wonderfully genuine server. The food was delicious, as expected, and the meal was nicely paced. The unexpected arrived in the form of a complimentary chocolate soufflé and two glasses of champagne. We felt well celebrated!"

  • "We had eaten at Roy's many years ago and had forgotten how good it is. We had a great time. Our party had the butterfish, short ribs, and fish sampler with lobster potstickers and ahi for appetizers. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. And don't forget to share a molten lava cake for dessert. Tiffany our server was a delight, along with all the other servers who attended the table. I noticed all the employees acknowledged us with a "hi" or enjoy your evening as we passed through the restaurant. We spent nearly 3 hours having dinner which it's very unusual for us. We had a great time."

  • "First time diners at Roy's during our Bonita Springs' vacation, our party of 4 each tried a different entree including pork osso bucolic,'TNT' corvina, butterfish and tempanyaki shrimp. The entrees were fabulous , the sauces mouth-watering with unique flavors. Our waitress was pleasant, knowledgable, attentive but not hovering. I would strongly recommend this place even for special occasions and if given another opportunity, we shall return. Though expensive, we considered our meals good value."

Our server, Cathy, was exceptional; She explained the menu, had a wonderful personality and checked on us often without being overbearing.   • "We were a party of 6 celebrating a birthday and everything was perfect! Tim, our server, was knowledgeable and attentive. Everyone loved their food choices and would reorder. Chef Jason's special, andouille encrusted red snapper, was the hit of the table. I ordered the Hot Pot which was flavorful and full of fresh seafood. Please save room for dessert! The chocolate molten cake is delicious. This was our third visit in a month with different groups and we will continue to explore Roy's menu."

  • "We had a 7:45 pm reservation for 4 people and were not seated until after 8, a little aggravating since the hostess did little to assure us of efforts to seat us nor recommend a drink at the bar--we felt a bit stranded at the front door. Our waiter was hard to hear and when asked to repeat a few things became a bit defensive. Unfortunately he messed up one of the cocktail orders and when he began to remove it from the table, spilled some on the back of another diner at our table. Not a great start to the evening at all. Our food was fabulous, so that will keep us coming back--can't say the same about the service, however."

The meals were excellent - we had TNT fish preparation that was astonishingly good. No need for dessert here - the meals were treats in themselves. Service was exemplary - Wait staff brought a woman at nearby table some reading glasses since she forgot hers in the car."

If your looking for a good cocktail the 1988 and the Pineapple Martinis are wonderful. However, I would love to see an extended list of house special martinis. It was a fabulous evening out!"

  • "Excellent food, excellent service. This is a large restaurant to fill with customers but they do it consistently, because the food and service deserves the recognition. We travel up from Naples because the Chefs specials at the Bonita Springs restaurant are so good. We can't recommend thus place highly enough, and no I'm not the Chefs brother. Go you won't be disappointed."
