Big Island Room: The main dining room which is privatized to become the Big Island Room which seats 140 guests. The Pau Han room is great for cocktail parties for 40 guests or seat down dinners for 30 guests.

  • "Once again Roy's delivered with a great meal! On this occasions. We were sat at a window table and we were able to enjoy the energy of Harbor East. Our server Amanda was attentive yet never intrusive and was able to answer all our questions. She was even aware if our special dessert request and mentioned it. The only downsides were the tables to screaming children - I really wish people would realize how inappropriate this is and not take their children to fine dining establishments such as this."

  • "Roy's has been inconsistent. I have been there 4 times. Twice, the food and service were great. Twice, the food and service were lacking. This time was a miss. The service was slow and mostly absent. My iced tea glass sat empty most of the meal. We waited about 20 minutes between each course. The food was also bad. It was a Sunday, but that' s not an excuse. The fish was overcooked and bland. It felt like they were serving reheated leftovers. The restaurant itself is lovely. I just wish it was more consistent."

  • "We decided to try Roy's after seeing a LivingSocial deal, and made a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday evening. We used the valet parking service, which is a nice option. The hostesses were very friendly, and were able to seat us immediately even though we were 15 minutes early. Marianne was our server, who was high energy and very knowledgeable of the menu and walked us through the specials and recommendations. We lacked for nothing, and every one of our server's recommendations were amazing and full of flavor. Very cohesive staff who backed each other up, and the meal flowed well. Pineapple upside down cake is a must!! A wonderful experience - can't wait to go back for a second visit."

  • "The food was very (VERY) under seasoned. Portions were small, especially for the price point. I had the special (a tri-course) of filet, shrimp and tuna. 3 shrimp that were larger than the filet...which was tough as nails and fatty (I ordered it medium). Waitress was recovering from having lost her voice (fine, no issues) but she was overly attentive...kinda ruined it for us and she must have an incentive to push dessert...she offered it no less than 5 times. She became obviously flustered when we didn't order drinks or apps (we just wanted entrees after traveling all day) and realized that we weren't going to increase the check. Maybe that's why she continued to push dessert...."

  • "If the dining choises weren't as excellent as they are, I would skip Roy's because of the noise - nearly impossible to hold a conversation on a busy evening. But, it's worth enduring the annoyance for the meal. Don't miss the Canoe - that and a salad could be your meal. The seafood is the choice for Roy's but passed on that for their tasty braised short ribs. Order the pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream- a real treat!"

  • "My daughter Lauren & I had dinner @ Roy's on Thurs, 4/10/14. Our very attentive, friendly & efficient Server, Ashlee, was EXCELLENT. She was consulted on all our selections, taking into consideration our culinary limitations & preferences. Her recommendations were all accurate & much appreciated. She was ably assisted by a willing Runner, Bryson Keens. Bryson was RIGHT ON. He makes an excellent Runner, with hopes of moving up to a Server some day. :) A memorable evening with excellent service & food!"

  • "One of my favorites whenever in Orlando, now one of my favorites in Baltimore as well. Wonderful service from Ashlee. Food was outstanding as always. I ordered the Lobster Potstickers and Roy's Trio consisting of Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Roasted Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi, and Misoyaki Butterfish. All were very good. Ambiance is very good."

  • "I am not always a fan of dining at "chain" restaurants, especially since there are so many eclectic and unique places in Baltimore but Roy's has one thing they I can't find anywhere else and that is butterfish. Out of all the great items on the menu the butterfish is by far my favorite and my most often ordered item. Roy's is also one of the few places that the service is exceptional every single time. Servers are knowledgeable, extremely accommodating and make you feel very take care of. if you have not been I highly recommend checking it out."

We took my fiancee's parents there for there birthday with a large group and they took great care of us. Brought them desserts with candles with their names written in chocolate. If you haven't been go, you won't regret it. I plan to visit there whenever I get a chance."

  • "I would consider us Roy's regulars and there is a reason for that...the food! No real issues to note on the food except for the fact that the Edamame were soggy and clearly not fresh. Other food items were great! I have noted in past reviews that the service levels vary greatly depending on who you get as a server. This visit we were generally pretty happy with the service provided. Considering the place was a zoo (tons of people) I think the server did a very good job. We will return!"

  • "We arrived about 15 minutes early for our reservation and were promptly seated. I requested a table that was along the wall not open in the floor which we were granted. We ordered the canoe appetizer for 2. I had the fish trio and my husband had the seafood spicy seafood Hot Pot. Everything on the appetizer was just okay, nothing I would write home about. The short ribs were so fatty that I had to leave a good portion uneaten. The salmon was the most outstanding thing on the trio. The butterfish second, but was drenched in a syrupy sauce and the nut crusted mahi mahi was bland, the sauce was cold and looked unappealing. Both the shrimp and lobster were overcooked in my husband's hot pot. Service was really good."

  • "I have to say that Roy's has always come through for a special occasion or just a dinner out. Service was excellent, very attentive but now hovering over you. The pace was quiet good as we were given enough time between courses to enjoy the food and still socialize as well. Check out the seasonal menu if you have the chance as it is well worth it. The crab and lobster shrimp toast appetizer is mouthwatering. Small portion so not great for sharing but very rich and satisfying. The hangar steak is is fork tender and seasoned beautifully if you don't want to do seafood. Of course the trio of butterfish, salmon and mahi mahi is always satisfying and light. Roy's never disappoints and will always be a go to restaurant for special occasions."

  • "I had been a sometimes patron of this location in the past. On this occasion we were a party of 3. The main issue had to do with my daughter's entrée. The item was questionable as to freshness. The entrée was replaced as per course. The replacement entrée was also questionable. When we left our valet parked car has been mis-parked we had a long wait for our car to be retrieved. I would say that we had a very stressful dining experience that may be a everyday occurrence at this present time and location. A return to quality service and quality products as well as valet service is sorely needed."

  • "I've heard rave reviews about Roy's and I agree with them. This was my first time there and from start to finish everything was fantastic. We were celebrating a friend's birthday. For this occasion, our table was decorated with ribbons, a personalized card, our picture was taken and dessert with a candle was complimentary. We loved the Hawaiian Martini, Terrazas Malbec, the sushi, calamari, and Chilean Sea Bass. I was thrilled there were plenty of Gluten Free options - all of which were delicious. I can't wait to go back!"

  • "Went to Roy's on Friday of St Patricks day weekend. Arrive a few minutes early for the reservation and we were sat immediately. Excellent service as always. Extensive wine list, great cocktails. Choose sushi over hot appetizers and it was a great choice. The tempura included coconut, which was an added surprise. We both had fish, mahi and sea bass, both entrees were excellent. The pineapple upside down cake arrived hot with a side of coconut ice cream. Will definitely visit Roy's again in the near future."

  • "I like Roy's and would recommend it, but I think I picked the wrong entrée. We had appetizers of sushi rolls and they were fantastic as they were the last time we came in. It had only been a few months but my wife and I could remember what we each had as a main course. They may have changed the menu or we got a special that night but nothing really caught my eye. I went with the grilled shrimp over pasta and my wife had a filet. Why she got steak at a seafood place is still beyond me. We both thought our dishes were average (I could have told her her's was going to be...). I remember really enjoying my food last visit but I should have gotten a different dish."

  • "Normally great food. Decided to try chef specialty., BIG MISTAKE. Pork Chop was gigantic, very undercooked, lots of fat and gristle. Manager took it off check, saying it wasn't up to their standards nor was it up to mine. Still wandering why the chef prepared it. Disappointed, but will go back for Brunch and regular menu items"
