Had a wonderful late weeknight
dinner as only reservation we could get was 9:30pm. Beautiful space with a hopping atmosphere. Food was yummy, especially the smoked seafood sampler and the lobster rolls. Our table had both the butter poached and creamy rolls. Everyone loved them. Hopefully, next time we can get an earlier reservation. Left at 11:45pm with very full stomaches."

We have been to Row 34 many times
and love it! We recently went with a family member who is a self proclaimed wine snob. The server was great. She knew her stuff and recommended and excellent wine."

We had a great lunch at Row 34 -
the oyster cups and the crab cake were fabulous. Attentive and friendly service as well. This is a terrific restaurant."

Freshest seafood I have ever
tasted. Outstanding in every way."

We had a late (9:30) reservation
on a holiday and I was expecting the restaurant to be busy and our meal slightly hurried. While the restaurant was busy, our meal was calm, the service was great, and it was never too loud. The food was great, I would recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood!"

This was our second visit and
while the food is good, location great - the music is WAY WAY to LOUD!! No one could hear and we wound up shouting the entire time. Will not go again - sadly."

Seafood is everywhere in Boston,
Row 34 takes it to another level.. The oyster and clam choices are fresh and there are many from which to choose. The dinner options are varied and reflect whatever is in season. The Striped Bass with faro and fava beans I had was as good as I have ever been served. The room is large, open and convivial. The beer list is comprehensive. The wine list works well with the food. Spirits and cocktails are not available. This is a restaurant that should be around for many years. This was my third visit and the first with my two young grandsons. They very much enjoyed the scene, were treated correctly and ate accordingly. The ten year old tried his first oyster and asked for seconds."

Excellent raw bar, nice limited
menu, amazing beer list in an "industrial chic" bustling (noisy) atmosphere. Service is excellent... staff has a great attitude. Valet parking would be a nice addition."

Great restaurant, great service,
great food, but for personal preferences just not my go to place for seafood. I would recommend this place for others to try for themselves. Also happy to hear comments on what other people think... Had the following items: Raw Oysters - Loved them, can never go wrong with Island Creek and the Row 34 oysters were great. Spicy mignonette was one of the best I ever had. Snapper Ceviche - Solid dish but thought the flavors from the mango and grilled pineapple were a bit overwhelming. Creamy Lobster Roll - Again solid, had a lot of lobster but end of the day I'm a bit of a minimalist when it comes to lobster rolls and I wasn't a fan of the chopped onions or the chopped pickles."

My fiancee and I just got engaged
that day and I planned a special dinner with us and our friends. They were there when we arrived and had champagne waiting for us! We ordered more drinks; they took a bit of time to arrive. We ordered oysters and a few appetizers but only the oysters arrived, no appetizers. We asked the waiter for other appetizers and still did not receive them. We did not bigger to make a fuss about it because the oysters turned out to he enough before our meals. The meals were excellent."

My mom, from WI, wanted one thing
during her visit to Boston/New England: a lobster roll. At Row 34 we had two lobster roll options with homemade, super-crisp potato chips and free sparkling water. She loved the warm buttered lobster roll and I devoured my crab cake with corn salsa. I will definitely be going again."

They are always friendly and have
a great beer selection."

Came here at the suggestion of a
waiter at Neptune Oyster as a place to find some smoked seafood, was disappointed to only find two smoked items on the raw menu, smoked tuna salad and smoked scallop. Both were very good, but was hoping to find more variety as I haven't seen it anywhere else in Boston. The rest of the raw selection was good, comparable to the rest of the places in Boston, and the entrees were good as well."

You won't be disappointed. We
arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation (& before the restaurant opened...oops), so we sat at the bar and discovered that it is also a craft beer place. The hostess and bartender were incredibly gracious and made excellent recommendations. Once sat at our table, we ordered oysters from the raw bar, clam chowder, half a lobster, the tuna tacos, tuna crudo, and smoked trout pate. All very very good. Made for an excellent lunch. Even better that it is located next to Trillium Brewing Company where you can buy freshly poured growlers and bottles of locally brewed craft beer to go. I would definitely recommend Row 34 to others."

A beer list to satisfy and
intrigue the most meticulous of beer geeks. A raw bar bounty, highlighted by a spectacular oyster selection, to please the most sophisticated piscavores. A full menu, heavy on the local seafood, to sate the tentative diner (great fried clams, lobster rolls, burgers) or the gourmet adventurer (crudos, ceviches, and beautifully cooked seafood). All wrapped in a very hip, bustling warehouse space with an enthusiastic and charming staff. I aspire to become a regular."

I went on a business lunch with
someone who doesn't like salmon. I ordered the salmon and he decided to give it a try. We both LOVED it. He told our waitress that it was the best salmon he'd had. My only wish is that they served a big salad for lunch. It would go so well with the oyster/lettuce wraps which are fantastic. Can't wait for the outdoor patio to open!"
Dined on 6/16/2014
Great oysters and the waiter did a
nice job recommending wine and beer pairings that complimented the flavor."

Took clients and colleagues for
dinner at the suggestion of many local friends while visiting from NYC. The food was SPECTACULAR!! Raw bay oysters - TUNA CRUDO - WOW!! Lobster rolls, clams, crabcake - were all fantastic. We were talking a lot which I think made the server want to leave us alone but I wish should would have been a little more attentive was food was served - people we hoping for additional wine with dinner that was never offered. Granted it was busy - that would have made it a little sweeter. The whole"

Great raw bar and excellent
seafood entrees in a upscale urban setting. Worth the wait for a reservation."

oysters, lobster tacos and mussels
- I couldn't make up my mind so I had them all. Each was outstanding."

Headed to the craft beer fest and
decided to make res based on reviews from some fellow craft brewers. Service felt a little disjointed-there seemed to be enough hostesses and servers, food runners, etc but we still felt like no one was folllowing up at each turn & this was at 5pm. A larger bar may have made our wait seem shorter and made us spend a little more time ( and money). Did we mention we never got the bread that was promised?! Overall, glad we tried the restaurant once."

My daughter is here from Wyoming
and wanted to have oysters - she loved Row 34 and the variety of oysters, the lettuce cups and the crab cakes. Butterscotch pudding is not at the top of my favorite dessert list but your pudding is AMAZING!!"

I was very excited to try Row 34
as I am a fan of Eastern Standard and ICOB. Maybe I should not have had as high of an expectation based on my experiences there, but I was surprised at how long it took for us from start to finish. It seemed that our server was preoccupied with a large party next to us. I thought the food was excellent, and that seemed to come out shortly after we ordered it, but we could have had more attention paid to our table. "

A great selection of beer, fish,
oysters and clams. "

Noisy space with no interior
design features to absorb the cacophony."

We had read a review on Row 34 so
we visited while in Boston. The vibe was very cool and the place was buzzing on a Saturday night. Amazing selection of fresh oysters and other seafood and the Ceviche was melt in your mouth fantastic. On top of the food, our waiter was great at helping us pick out different raw bar selections and explaining our options. He was extremely engaging and attentive and really made the overall experience a great time. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Boston. "

Spent a week in Boston and on the
recommendation of a friend we made a reservation for lunch at Row 34 on our last day in town. THANK GOODNESS. The raw bar is simply sublime, the wine and beer selections otherworldly, and the service was truly top notch. I can't recommend a visit to Row 34 enough, but if you don't want to take my word for it perhaps the joyful noshing of Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian who was seated behind us would be seen as a good sign? Next time I'm planning on being in Boston I'll make AT LEAST one reservation for Row 34."

A friend who'd been here twice
before booked us for a Thursday lunch and it was a complete joy. Very open, lively but not noisy. Helpful waiter, who wanted us to ask questions. I had a crabcake with fennel-onion salad and it was delicious, a little too small to make a complete lunch. No problem because my friend and I each ordered dessert. She had the butterscotch pudding. She asked if they could split it into two different dishes so that I could share it and they accommodated the request. Bobby, the sous chef, was stationed right at the counter and everything that came out of the kitchen had to pass his inspection. A great place."

Loved the service, the food was
incredible. Not a large bar so I wouldn't recommend just going for drinks, definitely good dinner spot for seafood lovers."

I came here yesterday for lunch
and had a great time with a group of friends visiting from out of town. The service was great and our waiter was very helpful with suggestions and descritptions of items on the menu. I love the fried oysters and lobster roll!"
Dined on 5/4/2014
Had a reservation but still had
to wait 35minutes, Ordered oysters for the table, they were very fresh and wonderful, then waited 20 minutes to order mains. The mains came 30 minutes later, all were good but timing of the whole dinner didn't flow well at all. Seemed many people waited some time for there reservations as well. Would not return... "

Great seafood. The monkfish is a
must! They also have a great selection of oysters."

Birthday dinner for my wife- had a
greta time - best fried oyters we have ever tasted - and great lobster roll - energetic, laid back eating it is as they say a working mans fish house"
Dined on 4/30/2014
This is a pretty, new restaurant
with decent food but it needs to get over itself and start serving hard liquor to be a real player! The "we-don't-need-to-compete-with-the-martini-bars" attitude (which was expressed to me by the waiter) is juvenile (as is most of the crowd) and not responsive to customer desires. And it's topped off by no-name wines that could be 3 buck chuck for all we know! The food,on the otherhand, was good although the whole fish was so riddled with bones it was impossible to eat without constant fingers in the mouth yanking out potentially murderous weapons. And the three desert choices seemed like an afterthought...the one we got was described as like a "frozen snickers bar". And that it was...for $6...really?"
Dined on 4/29/2014
We had a 9:30 reservation but were
seated at a hightop right when we arrived at 9, which was great. The beer list was extensive and the choices excellent. The food was also stellar, especially considering the reasonable prices - the oysters were top notch and the warm lobster roll was the best that I've ever had. The ambiance is wonderful with soaring loft ceilings - very trendy. Only complaint was that we waited quite a long time for our meals to arrive, even though the restaurant was not 100% full. Otherwise, excellent."
Dined on 4/28/2014
Awesome FOOD!!! Best oysters,
clams, appetizers ever! Terrific wait staff and bartenders fantastic."
Dined on 4/26/2014
First time but definitely not the
last. Wish it had water views and outdoor seating but still one of the best lunch spots in town. We couldn't decide so we stuck to the appetizers lettuce cups with crispy oysters. Fried clams. Muscles. Lobster tacos. All awesome!!!! "
Dined on 4/25/2014
This new hot spot shines on simple
dishes such as the clam chowder and the lobster roll, as well as on more unusual fare such as the smoked plate featuring an orange trout pate. Notable beer and wine lists. Great attention to detail in the service, as our server helped us plan our meal as well as what to split and when each course would arrive."
Dined on 4/24/2014
The clams and muscles were
delicious! Could have drank the sauce."
Dined on 4/17/2014
We had a res for 9 PM and were
seated on time. The place is nice but is a bit noisy. I like the warehouse feel. Our waitress wasn't too friendly. I think she was trying to be very efficient, rushing from one table to the next and was stressing herself out. Drinks and food arrive in a timely fashion after being ordered. The oysters were excellent but my husband's ceviche had way too much lime. We couldn't taste the salmon at all. Same thing goes for the monkfish I ordered. Everything was cooked well but I couldn't taste the fish at all. My husband had the whole fish which was excellent. Overall we had a nice exp. One complaint though 1/2 the bill was for booze. I know that's how restaurants make money but still, $11 for imported beer... "
