Row 14 Bistro & Wine BarGreat food before a showHad a great quick dinner before heading over to the Buell Theater. Shared a plate of braised ribs, which we enjoyed greatly. Very tender, beautifully presented. Also enjoyed a side of brussel sprouts. I would call them Al Dente, with a nice crispy roasted outside. Finished off with a Cherry Creme Brulee. It maintained most of the traditional flavor without being overpowered by the cherry. And finally of course had wine. We both enjoyed the Malbec. Both were fantastic.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice restaurant thatVery nice restaurant that is easy to find. try the duck, it's excellent. the wine list is adequate, the soups are great, and the service was good. if weather permits, sit outside and enjoy the sites and sounds of Denver passing by.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat FindIt was a great experience overall. Our waiter was knowledgeable, however a bit overwhelmed with the large crowd arriving at once on a week night. He made it up to us by comping our cheese plate, which is always a nice plus. Excellent food and cocktails. We will be back.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI had "The Gin" cocktail,I had "The Gin" cocktail, which was excellent. Appetizers were great and shareable - mussels and cheesesteak empanadas!! Wine list seemed very nice - tried a crisp white from Spain and enjoyed. Patio seemed very nice - we sat just inside and enjoyed it. Met owner - very personable and welcoming. Will be back!!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall dinner party successAlthough it was noisy because our table of 8 backed up to the bar, we did fine and everyone had a good meal without going over the top of my budget. Only regret was we ordered a good white wine and when we re-ordered there was no more. Strange for a wine bistro. Wish the waiter had told us this was the last bottle when we ordered the first time. Otherwise , much fun.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMy daughter and I loved theMy daughter and I loved the location anchored near the Theatre district.

When we gotGreat service. When we got there, our table they had set aside for us was still in use, and the people having dinner were taking forever to pay their bill (or "check" as they say here). The hostess seated us temporarily at the bar, and when they still weren't moving, she brought us complimentary glasses of champagne, all the while apologizing profusely.

Philly cheesesteak empanadas were flaky and piping hot. Everything was beautifully plated and had extra little touches, for instance the good sized Maine Diver Scallops entree included risotto cakes. Decor had circular designs, nice!, and service was friendly.2/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
