  • "We have eaten at Row 14 several times before the theater and again this was just what we were looking for. A great bottle of wine and a parade of appetizers. Perfect way to start the evening. To top it off, our server was always available but never pushy; what a great combination."

  • "A high-brow way to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday! Our server, Louis, helped make her feel special while treating her to her first (legal) glass in Pinot. Mmmmm. Paired with wonderful eats."

  • "We had a great dinner. The only downside would be the cost of drinks. Overall, a good place."

  • "We love Row 14 for before evening performances or after matinee performances at either the symphony or opera. This time we had house salads, crab cake appetizer and the six cheese selection. All were wonderful! The malbec wine was superb. We are glad to have found this excellent find."

  • "I went with a group of 12 women before a show at the Bellco across the street. Excellent service! Valet for $8 was great too!"

  • "we go to row 14 when we have early theatre tickets. even with a 6:30 show time and a 5:30 reservation, they get us in and out on time. they are just a few blocks from the denver center theatre. we let them know when we sit down that we have to be out by 6:15 and they always take care of us. the servers are attentive, helpful and authentically friendly."

  • "I had perhaps the best cocktail I've ever had there the other night. The Tequila was amazing. As was the Gin."

  • "We weren't that impressed with the restaurant. The prices are high and the food just ok. I don't mind paying for good food, but paying for something I could make at home, not so much. We arrived at 5:30 and the place hadn't filled yet. I think our server had nothing else to do, and she made the experience bad because she kept rushing us. My husband ordered a beer they were out of and she came back to the table before he even had a chance to pick another drink (he was clearly still reading the drinks menu, so there could be no confusion that he was ready). He ended up feeling rushed & ordering a bourbon drink that was horrible. It was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience. We paid the bill and left just to get away from the server."

  • "We were excited to try this fairly new restaurant and the menu looked delicious. But we were both disappointed. The presentation was good, but the entrees were bland and underseasoned. Not a single dish or appetizer we ordered impressed us. Definitely not worth trying when there are so many great restaurants downtown."

  • "We have been to Row 14 3 times and each time it has been a delight! Our Waiter Luis was great, attentive and a pleasure to have serve us! I had the Arctic Char. It was phenomenal! They have a long list of wines by the glass and each time I try a new one. Great place and so close to the theater and symphony - its a winner"

  • "...but we were cold sitting by the front windows. My wife had to keep her jacket on the whole meal. The food was a little too pretentious for our tastes but what was served was good. We had no major quarrels with the restaurant, but for the price, we just weren't blown away. I wouldn't go back for entrees that were between $20-$30."

  • "We had dinner at Row 14 before attending a concert at Boettcher. The cocktail list was fun and the drinks delicious. The wine list was fine, but less varied than I anticipated. The food and service were excellent - scallops, Arctic Char, bolognese - and the cheese cake was sinful. We'll definitely go again."

  • "The main features were tasty, set in a well appointed space. Food is rather pricey; however their happy hour looks interesting so we will return to give it a try."

  • "this was a great find across the street from the Denver Convention Center - not a typical location to find a cool, fun restaurant with great food, good wine/beer listing and terrific service. Would go back even if I'm not attending a convention!"

  • "Wow! I've eaten at Row 14 a number of times and it has never disappointed me. However, last Saturday night was epic! I've never enjoyed better service and the food was incredible. Four of us dined for a birthday party and we each had different types of food...fish, beef, duck and pasta. Each dish was awesome and the kitchen allowed us some flexibility in customizing our orders. Our waitress was awesome and made the birthday festive with a candle and a special dessert. The table service was impeccable. Although the bar tenders were less friendly than was the wait staff, we gave them a thorough workout requesting various types of mixed drinks and they were all executed with perfection. Great experience and great food!"

  • "Noisy, very busy, waitstaff got the job done, but too busy to be attentive. It sounded this way the night before too, when an employee called to confirm my reservation--noisy and chaotic in the background, her voice on the edge of frantic. Food was acceptable, but not great. Salmon was a little dry, pasta a little bland. Nothing stood out about these dishes. Location was good, close to symphony, but not a good place to take a date."

  • "The staff was extremely professional and polite. Within 5 minutes of being sat, someone at our table had spilled a glass of water, soaking the menus and myself. There were at least a team of 4, that came by with napkins, new menus and silverware and a full beverage. I was so impressed by their swiftness, teamwork and professionalism. This is difficult to find sometimes. And the situation was taken care of so quickly that I forgot about it immediately and could keep enjoying the dinner. The dinner was very well prepared and presentation was wonderful. Great place to go before a show at the Buell."

  • "Louis is the best server in Denver! Cute, professional and knowledgeable. I started with the best twist on a Manhattan I've had since they became trendy. The empanadas were amazing, the cheese plate is a must (try it with a wine flight) the scallops, duck and pasta were all divine. My party of 5 was not disappointed. I'll be back for sure - and Tunis is the first Denver restaurant I've said that about!"

  • "This is a nice bistro wine bar located near the Colorado Convention Center. The truffle fries and grilled cauliflower were excellent appetizers. The entrees were nicely prepared with fresh ingredients. The bar area can get noisy so if you don't like that ask to be seated away from the bar."

  • "We met some friends here for dinner before going to a show. We started off by being blinded by the sun coming in through the windows for the first half hour we were there. Nobody offered to do anything about it. I actually don't think they had any blinds which is silly as this issue must occur virtually every day. The food was terrible. Only one of the dishes ordered between the four of us was even decent (the scallops). My pork chop was rubber. It was the first time I've sent something back in probably 15 years. My friend felt bad to suffered through his. The grilled salad was "odd" tasting and the pasta was bland (you wouldn't expect tha tfrom a dish with truffle oil). We will not return and I do not recommend it to anyone."

  • "First time at this restaurant mainly because because it is close to the Performing Arts Complex. Food and service were good. We had the diver scallops. The ambiance was average and the prices a bit high. Would probably go back especially for dinner before a show at the Buell."

  • "We enjoyed Row 14 Bistro & Wine Bar but found the menu pretty limited. As in most places in Denver, it was meat and game oriented. I expected more of a French theme given that its called a bistro. Also, the wine by the glass menu was very limited for a "wine bar". I wanted a typical California Chardonay with some oak and they didn't offer one."

  • "Row 14 accommodates theatre goers with quick turnaround service. We had less than an hour to dine before our DPAC performance and they left us time to walk to the theatre. The brussel sprouts were very good as was the pork chop!"

  • "After previous good dinners, this dinner was dreadful. The restaurant was just starting to fill up but we got seated next to a very large noisy table. There were many empty tables and we should have been seated further away. Service was extremely slow and inattentive. After working to flag down our server several times, our side dish did not arrive until we were completely finished with dinner. The scallops were burnt on one side and raw on the other. The polenta was like burnt corn bread hockey pucks and the kale was too tough to even cut with a steak knife. Our server did comp us dessert. The empanadas with strawberry filling were very doughy and the filling was microscopic. I thought I could count on this restaurant, but apparently not."

  • "I had made reservations for 5pm which about the time our play should have been over. For some reason, the play ended a bit early so we headed to the restaurant. We found out that restaurant doesn't technically open for dinner until 5pm so we enjoyed a glass of wine and app while we waited. The staff was sooo nice and agreed to open the kitchen about a half an hour early to accommodate us and the other families coming in from the play. The food was fabulous!!! Will definitely be going back!"

  • "I'm never disappointed when it comes to Row 14. In general the menu is creative and well executed and there were no exceptions to this standard during Restaurant Week. I loved that they offered wine pairings with the 3-course menu. Every morsal was delectable -- I look forward to the tasting the menu next year!!!!"

  • "We had a reservation for 6:30, and arrived shortly beforehand (6:26). When we checked in holding our coats, we were told that our table was not yet ready. Unfortunately both the hostess and the owner/manager sat about 10 people that arrived after us. The food was good, as usual, and our server was attentive and kind."

  • "Row 14 is 2 blocks from the Denver Performing Arts Center a great choice for an early dinner before the show. The food is good - quite good, the wine list is decent and well priced, and the service is excellent. My husband and I enjoyed the mussels for our first course. I ordered the short ribs which were quite filling and my husband had the bison pasta dish (a little disappointing-but good). Definately recommend."

  • "My husband and I had a nice time at Row 14 when we went for dinner during Restaurant Week. The food was good, but honestly, I think this will continue to more of a wine bar for me. I enjoy just having appetizers and wine here more than a full dinner."

  • "First course and dessert was amazing, but second course left something to be desired. Best option was the rib plate and it was overcooked, but still not bad. Our server was attentive, but not personable. The kicker for the sub-par experience was that our table of 8 was autogratted. This is never a problem for me, but it is nice when the server points it out. I work service industry and always make sure to tell people or highlight the gratuity added. He didn't do this, which looks a bit shady. I will be back, but will sit at the bar and hopefully be taken care of by Sam the bartender. That guy is the poster child for service and hospitality!"

  • "We made a reservation for 7 women in the Bar Lounge before the Girls Only Show at DCPA. It was perfect! A beautiful high-top table in the front corner of the Bar surrounded by windows. It was a more private little section with just this table separated from the rest of the bar. The waiter made some recommendations from the Happy Hour menu that were AWESOME! He did a wonderful job taking care of our chatty group! Great service, wine, and delicious food. I highly recommend. We will definitely be returning."
