There is a seperate seating area upstairs which would be ok for groups. The service was bit slow as we waiting for over 10 mins for our waiter to greet us. We had scallops which were very tender. Complimentary taster of smoked duck. From the interior decoration to the divine food through a great service, every aspect of our evening was a bliss.

It's a very romantic little spot with amazing food, and I must add that the staff were phenomenal and knew every little detail about the food and it's preparation. Usually one might be in and out of a restaurant in one and a half to two hours but we elected to go with the Chef's Six Course and so we took almost exactly four hours and hugely enjoyed it.
The courses were all delicious and, although we are not wine connoisseurs by any stretch, the wine pairings were excellent and we had to get one of our kids to come and pick us up. Most of the food was really good, my lamb was amazing, two people at our table had the risotto with truffle oil and egg as a starter and it was excellent. The only bad dish was my starter, the shrimp two temperature garpachio - it was terrible. As it had been raining for days we were keen to sit outside. I was disappointed with the plastic chairs and tent - it would have been more elegant with metal or wood chairs and we considered going back inside. The tent does not allow you to really enjoy the wonderful garden they have. The food quality was amazing though my veggie husband was disappointed with the tiny pasta serving size as an entree. I would highly recommend having the chef feed you if it is a special occasion such as an anniversary. Our waiter was fantastic. She was friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing. I will definitely not recommend this dish to anyone. That's why I gave the food 4/5. I had the pork and scallop dish and I feel the pork can be done better, it's a bit tough and tasteless. The scallop was done excellent and especially the vegetable, it was superb!

We had the fixed prix menu, with one diner being gluten free, and the chef amazed us. He did a great job explaning each of the dishes and the wine pairings all of which were delicious. We decided on the Chef's Tasting Menu with the standard pairings. Six courses and wine pairings for each course, each plate was a complete surprise and resulted in my girlfriend and I looking at each other saying "WOW" with each bite. The wine pairings were perfect. The presentation and service was impeccable.

The service was perfect for our needs, friendly and appropriately attentive. We had a great table location just in front of the window giving what felt like a very private experience even though the restaurant was reasonably busy as the night went on. The food was all what you would expect at a premium French themed restaurant as was the wine selection. It is a priced accordingly for a premium restaurant. We had a beef strip loin that was slowly cooked sous vide? and then finished to make it extra tender and unfortunately it was tough and hard to eat, we told our waitress and she handled it exactly the way she should have. Later on the general manager came by to check on us and explain what had happened. Again exceptional service

The quality at rouge is simply outstanding - wonderful food, great service, a lovely feel to the place. The food was amazing, and beautifully presented with a very interesting selection. The waiter was great in recommending which wines to pair with our food. The only complaint was that it got very busy after 8pm and there was only the one waiter upstairs and he got extremely busy quickly and we were left with our dessert menus for 1/2hr trying to flag him down.
