Diner Reviews
  • "Although I can not ready complain about the place, I will say that I purchased a Travelzoo from here for $69 and when we received the bill it was still about the same thing. Meaning we paid an additional 60-70 bucks. Not many drinks or extras were brought however a 28% gratuity made for an unpleasant experience. Very nice decor though."

  • "Restaurant was not busy, however service was not good. Waiter was unable to get the order right. Each time food was Brought to the table by someone else & they were given the correct order, there was some confusion. Also wine requested with main course was forgotten. There seemed to be a language barrier?"

  • "On one hand, the ambiance and decor is amazing. The restaurant has an ultra-modern and classy feel to it. The tables are spacious and most have leather couches surrounding them, which are super comfortable. The salmon I ordered was delicious, and the dessert (chocolate mousse) was great. On the other hand, the food is overpriced. Although the salmon was tasty, it was not $30 a plate tasty, especially since it comes in a small child-sized portion. The appetizer we ordered, yellow tail snapper, was unimpressive. The cocktails were kind of sad too. My date and I ordered a margarita and a "colada de limon". Both were watered down and tasted horrible. The restaurant has potential, but the $150 bill for two wasn't worth it."

  • "My wife's meal, the rabbit, was one of her top 5. My short rib was a nice piece of meat, but was quite bland. The sides were plentiful and plenty for sharing for two or three people. Our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. The decor was nice and the seats were very comfortable chairs and there was the option of lounging on couches which were set up for groups. They could have varied the music. It seamed like the same instrumental was on a loop all night. The menu on line is not the same as at the restaurant. The restaurant menu is much smaller. We overheard one of the staff telling a group the menu was just changed, right before they left."

  • "The appetizers were also great - try the smoked octopus carpaccio! The view on the bay is also outstanding. We very much liked the decor. Staff was friendly and helpful, though we were left a bit long between drinks and courses."

  • "Do not go here if you enjoy eating good food. The food was mediocre at best, very poorly made, and some of it was just plain bad. The only good thing was the burrata because the kitchen did not make it. Service was poor because we were interrupted so frequently by the server who wanted to know how things were. When I finally gave him my criticism he said he would let the chef know. No offer to adjust our bill or give us a free dessert. This place needs more than the facelift it had just undergone. It needs somebody who can actually taste the food and correct it."
