I am so glad we did return for dinner this week, it was fantastic and the staff was

Always wanted to go to Rothschild's but never got around to it.....until now. The service was warm and attentive. The hostess and wait staff truly cared and wanted to make sure our party was cared for. The food was exceptional. We especially liked the Crispy Chicken and Spinach Ravioli, Lobster Ravioli, and the Vitello Rothschild's which was veal in a white wine and lemon sauce. The pasta is made on the premises and was quite delicious. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the halibut as the fresh fish. That said pastas were sensational. I haven't looked forward to eating leftovers in some time. Also desserts were delicious. Service was polished, but friendlly. The food is always delicious and perfectly prepared. The staff is professional and attentive without being over the top. The wine list will please anyone and there is always a manger/owner present. We weren't sure what to expect, and were pleasantly fulfilled. The restaurant has a very old school Italian feeling. There is an older "Newport money" crowd that seems to frequent the establishment, yet there was no stuffy attitude! The service was very pleasant and the food was delicious! Also the people watching was a gem. Its a bit pricey but well worth it. The food and service were very good. The ambiance is very upscale and perfect for a romantic night out with a special person. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
