Our server was on point with keeping our champagne glasses filled with a smile. I just wish the seating for brunch wasn't restricted to only two times. I had the miso crusted shrimp sooo good, my husband had the rib eye, it was melt in your mouth delicious. Not a cheap meal, but remember you get what you pay for and it was 4 star! The staff was kind enough to put us in a back room as we were 9 people. The service was impecable as always and the food was delicious. The only complaint we had from one of those at the table was that the fish special was too "fishy" which was not a good thing. I had the filet mignon and one of my other partners had the shrimp and we shared - it was delicious. Someone else ordered the sushi special which was superb. The rest of us had steak which of course is why you go to Rothmann's and it was wonderful. We also had many of the sides -hashbrowns, mushrooms, creamed spinach, onion rings. Each of them was delicious.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMA Birthday to RememberRecently my wife and I headed to Rothmann's Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday. We had heard good things about this restaurant and now we can attest first hand. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was a great start to the evening--we also enjoyed the accompanying basket of horse radish and tabasco, which allowed us to kick up the cocktail sauce! For our entrees, I opted for the 120z NY strip and half tail; my wife opted for the filet. Neither selection disappointed. Both were prepared to perfection and were delicious. For dessert, I had the cheese cake, which was adorned with a birthday greeting, and my wife selected the banana creme pie.
