"All the food was delicious and the drinks were great too. Lamb skewers were excellent, as were the mussels in Chardonnay sauce. Even the bread was a pleasure to eat, with a slightly chewy texture that gave it more bite; dipped into the pool of olive oil surrounding a not-too-briney tapenade, it would have been a satisfying meal on its own. But the dolmas--both grape leaves and little sweet peppers stuffed with herbed rice--were enough to divert from the bread offering. Drinks: Espresso martini that was pleasantly bitter and smokey, with what tasted like a real shot of espresso, and not at all too much sugar. French Martini: raspberry vodka, Chambord, and peach schnapps--sweeter and a good complement to the lamb. Con: waiter was subd"

"Rosemary's Thyme Bistro is decidedly a neighborhood restaurant, the perfect spot in which to have a nice meal after a walk through the park or the neighborhood. Service is very good and the staff are very friendly and accommodating, which makes for a relaxed and amenable dining experience. The food is very good and priced very much in tone with the restaurant's location, offering, and target audience. Will definitely be going back several times."

"Awesome brunch place in North Dupont area with a Mediterranean flair. The decor is stylish with the exposed brick and Mediterranean art, and the place has an intimate neighborhood feel. I had the pide with eggs and sausage (flatbread pizza) which I will definitely get next time. Not overly cheesy and it comes with a spicy tomato dipping sauce. Yum."

"This was our first visit to Washington, it was a perfect day, followed by a perfect dinner here. We loved the corner table, we could view the wonderful neighborhood and people. The food was fantastic, and drinks were very good as well. We will definitely eat here when we visit again!"

"It's great to have Rosemary's Thyme Bistro across the street from where we're staying for a month. The menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable. The first time there, we ordered soup and salad. The tortilla soup was delicious with a touch of tomato. The fish stew was equally delicious, though the "bowl" was a bit small. Salads are inventive and wonderfully crafted. Being here for a month, I have a feeling this will be one of our regular haunts."

"The food was good and the service was attentive. As noted by others, it was noisy and grew more so as the evening advanced and the crowd grew. Bar service was a disappointment. We ordered Old Fashions and they took an unusual while to arrive and when they did they were watery and disappointing--gave the impression the bartender had not made one in a long time. Beer with our meal would have been a better bet. the Pide flatbreads were excellent."

The food was excellent. I will definitely recommend Rosemary's Thyme Bistro to my friends and I will also be happy to dine here again.

The Good
I ordered the pancake breakfast (with sausage) and a side of fresh strawberries. The andouille sausage was phenomenal! The portions were large; two eggs, two sausage, three pancakes and a mixed fruit cup, plus the strawberries.

The Less Good
When I ordered the side of strawberries it would have been nice if the wait staff had asked whether or not I wanted the mixed fruit cup that came with my breakfast. Having both was too much but I stuffed it down because I hate to waste food. Three pancakes require more than the tiny amount of syrup that was inititally provided."

"This was a great new find. The food was well prepared and very good. There was an excellent selection of vegetarian items. The Santa Fe pizza and white pizza with sundried tomatoes looked and smelled great, the lamb with red sauce and yogurt was good, the Aegean salad was excellent, the pasta timbalo was great, and the spanikopita (called something else) and cactk were very good as well! At 7:30 pm on a Saturday it was not too busy, although it was full when we left, and out food came out quickly. I will return."
