  • "Rosebud has earned its place in the in-town dining scene. Consistently delivers a nice dining experience, with an accessible menu and efficient service. If you go for brunch and want to be seated outside, be sure to ask for a table that is in the sun filtered area of the patio. We were seated in direct sunlight with no protection. It would be a wise idea for the ownership to provide umbrellas or some other covering for guests seated in this area."

  • "My family had a great Saturday brunch here - the food wasn't overly complicated, but well-executed and presented. The stuffed pancake wowed. Staff was very sweet and accommodating."

  • "The food was good and the environment was friendly. The waitress we had though was very short and quick about wanting to get done with our orders. Wasn't as friendly."

  • "Would recommend brunch at Rosebud to anyone. I had the bacon cranberry french toast. It's bread pudding-style, with a fried egg on top. Whoa! I'm still dreaming about it. We had a fun time with our family, including our 11-month old. Will go back!"

  • "We went for a birthday dinner for my husband. The food and ambiance were great. The waitress poked into a couple of our conversations, which was a bit awkward at the beginning. She got the idea and was a little less vocally involved for the remainder of the meal."

  • "This is a very ggod restaurant, with great food and service. The prices are very resonable, for the quality of food you receive as well as generous portion size. This could be more romanic, if they dimed the lights a bit."

  • "I enjoyed rosebud-- had the trout, thought the mustard seed mash was too mustardy for me but still good. My friend had the fried chicken which looked good too. They were out of the Nutella chocolate pudding which was a bummer since I had heard it was most delicious. Would probably go there again. Nice little crafty cocktails, too."

  • "My husband and I have dined here twice with other couples and it's a city gem in our collective opinion. This visit, we started with appetizers and 3 of those with cocktails filled us up -- portions were a bit larger than fine restaurants would serve. The calamari, pimento cheese and scallops were all fantastic. We found humor in getting PBR in cans. Entrees were not as great as the last visit -- trout was served with a pool of sauce that broke up the potatoes it was served on, shrimp and grits had sausage that was spicy enough to overpower. The servers are very attentive and the ambiance is wonderful, even good people watching."

  • "Wonderful meal! So great I went two days in a row. One with a group and one day just with my boyfriend. I highly recommend the Nasty Royale!"

  • "The restaurant is everything the reviews stated it would be! Great Shrimp and Grits and excellent Mimosa selections."

  • "Tasty brunch and decent cocktails. Shrimp and grits and the breakfast bowl were good. The Nasty McCallister was good but nothing to rave about. The fried chicken breast needs more seasoning; perfect, non-greasy crispness but lacking in flavor. We wanted to order the stuffed pancake and French toast, but they were out of both. According to our waitress, it's not uncommon on weekends. Admittedly, I was very disappointed and it left a sour taste in my mouth. My husband and I have three kids, ages 6 and under and, while they don't have a kids menu per se, my children enjoyed their meals. The noise level is also good for little talkers."

  • "We've been here plenty of times for brunch and love it. We hadn't been in a few months and decided to try it out again, but were very disappointed. Maybe there is a new chef or something. The food just seemed to be missing something. The "egg-roll" just tasted like oily eggs... no scallions... no depth of flavor... and that used to be my favorite thing on the menu. My home fries were underdone and the onions were completely raw. The hot tea I ordered was barely warm. No one at the table was crazy about their food. I will say that we might try Rosebud again, but not for a while. This left a bad taste in our mouths... literally. Too bad."

  • "The food is amazing! Only thing I recommend is making sure to have a reservation for brunch for Saturday or Sunday. Otherwise, you'll be waiting for 1.5-2 hrs for a table, especially if you have a bigger group."

  • "We had a good dining experience at Rosebud on Saturday evening. All of us thought our food was quite good and for making a reservation fairly later on Saturday we were happy to get a table. The only complaint was we had to ask for bread, was never offered, but I think by Sat. night the wait staff is tired since they have such a busy weekend brunch crowd. Other than that, it was a nice meal out."

  • "I ordered the Breakfast Burger, as it was mentioned as a must have in a recent article. Food was pretty good but a little pricey for quantity. Friend ordered The Nasty Royal with potatoes, which seemed to be a better bang for your buck."

  • "I've been a Rosebud fan for quite a while that's why I chose to bring a friend to my favorite brunch spot. But, my most recent visit has prompted me to reconsider. *I stood at the hostess counter for 2 minutes watching the hostess read her cell phone. I was later acknowledged by a 2nd hostess- the 1st hostess never apologized. *Not so friendly server, no smiles, very dry. *Ordered sausage & mushroom omelet w/o cheese because they wouldn't sub cheddar for goat- omelet arrived w/o cheese and sausage *Server did apologize, but told us that's why Rosebud doesn't like to prepare special orders and it happens when you serve 500 people everyday. Recent health rating of 82- looks like there unhappy employees in the kitchen as well!"

  • "A took a small group to Rosebud for brunch this past Sunday. While the food was good, I was expecting more. I had heard a lot of very positive reviews about their brunch, both through word of mouth and online. I had the shrimp omlette. Again, good but not overwhelming. We also ordered cornbread. The blueberry preserves were awesome, but the cornbread was mediocre. It came out cold and it was very dry. We were also a bit disappointed that alcohol wasn't served until after 12:30....though totally not to the fault of the restaurant. We forgot about the GA Sunday Alcohol Law. The Blood Mary's are rumored to be excellent!"

  • "I liked the fried chicken, though I thought the crust would different more like Church's chicken! But that's not a bad thing. The mashed potatoes were really good. My fiance really enjoyed his meal; which was the trout. Our favorite part was dessert! The drunken cherry bread pudding was so good :) We would try this place again whenever we come back to ATL."

  • "I came here with my family for a special event and we had a wonderful experience. Large out-door patio, friendly, quick service. The food was amazing, though the vegetarian options for the veggie in our group was minimal. The collard greens were perhaps the best I've ever had. Definitely recommend this place to anyone."

  • "Monday, March 24, 2014, 6PM Dinner Reservation Had a friend in from out of town and had heard/read good things about Rosebud...if only it had lived up to the hype! 1) Ordered fried grits/grits fritters for an app...we're still waiting on them 2) My friend ordered waffles from the "Monday Brunch" menu...oops, the waffle iron wasn't working (I guess waffle irons are hard to find in Atlanta)...substituted the pancake and got no syrup; pancake was cold when syrup arrived 3) Waiter suggested Breakfast Burger over regular hamburger...way over-cooked, basically inedible Waiter was lost, food wasn't good...my recommendation is not to recommend Rosebud to anyone!"

  • "I came here with high expectations based on the rave reviews on Yelp and the previous experiences we've had dining here. Boy, was I disappointed. Made a reservation for brunch to join with a few friends. Everything started out okay until our food was brought to the table. My sister ordered the stuffed pancake and wasn't too pleased with the texture. She then asked to place an order for the shrimp and grits. The waitress was very unprofessional with delivering the check. I guess the saying is true that you never know who's who- because we actually had a friend joining us who is an editor for Edible Manhattan Food Magazine. She is writing a restaurant review on this place and trust me it will be seen by millions of others."

  • "What a refreshing experience. Wonderful service -- our waitress's food and drink recommendations were spot on, and the chef kindly made rounds. Great food -- we had the trout, salmon, and fried chicken, as well as the eggplant chips, and were so pleased with everything (though only the fried chicken was exceptional; the other dishes were well-done but not "the best ever"). Fun atmosphere -- we sat at the bar for drinks and enjoyed that, as well as our patio dinner. This was my first visit, but I would choose this option every time over the more popular virginia highland destinations."

  • "Want brunch? This restaurant has a great brunch. Dinner? Good as well. I like the food; however, I completely dislike the chairs with the thin, spindly metal legs. They're not comfortable and after an hour my legs are usually numb when I stand up. Omelets and Benedict's are especially tasty. Stuffed pancake is super tasty but heavy - so get it only if you're sharing or really hungry. Don't miss their signature cocktail "Keeping Up Appearances.""

  • "I would eat at this restaurant far more often and take friends, if it were not for the sometimes intolerable racket that makes conversation difficult to impossible, depending on the choice of music. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious, but as with many trendy restaurants these days, the noise level is such that shouting is the only reliable means of communication."

  • "I've been to Rosebud a ton of times, but our last 2 dining experiences there have been very disappointing. Our server gave was extremely unfriendly and only warmed up just before delivering the check (coincidence?). The food was simply not that good. The mac n cheese was dry and overcooked and the ahí tuna just didn't taste fresh. Loved thus restaurant because it was in the neighborhood, but much rather give our business to other restaurants in the area. We reserved a table for 5 (at 5:45 pm) and were squeezed into a 4 top just because our 5th was in a high chair. There were plenty of tables around us. Not sure why they did this. Just made our unpleasant experience more unpleasant because of the uncomfortable space."

  • "We celebrated my daughter's birthday over Sunday Brunch and had a wonderful time. The Shrimp and Grits was hearty and delicious as was the Breakfast Bowl. The nutella pudding dessert was a generous serving (enough for 2 to share) and it was rich and smooth. We were not as fond of the crab deviled eggs but everything else was excellent."
