Rosebud is consistent. On this evening, my wife loved the seabass piccata special, while I enjoyed linguine and clams in a red sauce. Service was outstanding as well. While Rosebud is a bit pricey, it's nice knowing you will have a delicious meal.

Food and service excellent. We love animals BUT next to us inside the restaurant was not acceptable. Dogs on the outside patio barking at customers passing table. Containment needed and these dogs did not have emotional or service dogs straps. We were celebrating an anniversary and they were notified on open table and did not recognize the fact.

Rosebud Deerfield is our favorite Italian Restaurant, and we have been to many, including La Scarola on Grand Avenue downtown, and Volare in Streeterville. The service is polite, courteous, and attentive. The food, from salads to appetizer, to pasta, veal chops, and fish are all outstanding. The Maitre D's are polite, friendly and genuinely care about one's dinner experience. We will return again soon.

Rosebud-Deerfield is an upscale Italian restaurant that delivers superb food in a nice environment. Service has been excellent both times we've eaten there and the vibe is laid back and easy going. On our most recent visit, one of us had the tortellini, another had the fusilli arrabiata, and the third diner had the filet mignon. We've had the tortellini before and it is exquisite. The fusilli arrabiata was also excellent; the arrabiata sauce was moderately spicy--enough to make it interesting, not so much as to burn the roof off your mouth. We were most curious about the filet, since that's not usually a staple of an Italian restaurant. It was excellent--comparable to the servings of a nearby upscale steakhouse in terms of the cut itself and the medium-rare perfection of the preparation. The three of us shared a Mediterranean salad and had enough left for a go-bag. The portions are hearty, and if you love pasta, this is about as good as it gets.

After having a miserable waiter experience last July for our Anniversary...we gave Rosebud another chance with friends, under one condition...that the older gentleman waiter NOT wait on us! We were given Stephanie who was 199% lovely. Food was great even though tables are extremely close together. It's hard to give a restaurant another chance...but we did. It all depends on the server..this time the experience was so much better

It appears that Rare gems are becoming a normal occurrence at Rosebud Deerfield! The Brick chicken was spectacular! Cooked and seasoned perfectly! Broccolini was delish too. Sautéed in a light olive oil with perfect texture! So definitely eat your greens and enjoy. The chicken had the perfect sautéed crust on the bottom and top of the dish. The chefs have to be really attentive to create a moist chicken with all this flavor locked in. If Rosebud taught a class for this dish! I would gladly give up both my ex wives to attend!
