Rosebud - DeerfieldGreat Food, Great ServiceThis was our first time at the Rosebud since they moved from their Highland Park location. I liked the scaled down look, as it felt a bit more homey to me. We thought the food was excellent all except the Chicken Piccata that my husband ordered. He felt that there wasn't enough taste to it. In any event, our waitress took it off our bill, which we weren't expecting and didn't ask her to do. A real touch of class!! We loved the pizza, pasta, salmon, chicken parmesan, etc. We will definitely be back for your wonderful food and excellent service. Great menu slections for any taste including meatless eaters. Portions are genrous, a lot of doggie bags walikng out the door. I can tell you that the food we had was excellent. The eggplant salad was amazing. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed the food that they had for dinner. The service was good, though not fantastic. There really was no ambiance, since it just keeps reminding me of the Bakers Square restaurant that previously occupied that space.
If you care most about food, you are set. The pastas are cooked perfectly, and love the baked ziti and any pasta with the crumbled italian sausage. Eggplant salad was outstanding and the brick chicken was outstanding.

Very impressed with the choices which were extremely tasty!! Will go again and again as the gluten free menu is wonderful!!!
