Rosebud Italian Specialties & PizzeriaFavorite hangout!"Rosebud" in Napervillel is our favorite hangout at this time. My husband and I love sitting outside when it's warm, enjoying not only the delicious food but also the pretty flower boxes and peoplewatching. We love the inside as well and often come for a late lunch or early dinner - our favorites are the Caesar Salad, Mussel appetizers and the Linguine Mariaio (clams in White Sauce over pasta). However, this time we came with our children and grandchildren to celebrate an early Mother's Day dinner on Saturday evening. Lorenzo was our waiter and he took great care of us adults as well was wonderful with the kids. We all loved our meals - the Salmon and Tilappia Specials were super tasty and hugely generous. Our server was very attentive and gave us time to make decisions about our dinners. In spite of being very busy, we didn't feel rushed. My tilapia was excellent as was our caesar salad. My wife's entree was not what she expected so our server encouraged her to order another entree which was an excellent eggplant parmesan. It was the first time dining with both of our children (4 1/2 and 13 months) and the staff couldn't have been better. It definitely helped that our kids were well behaved, but the entire staff was accommodating and friendly. Excellent food and service, all while dining with our family. The bruschetta was very good, as were the soups and salads. I had the pasta with peas and pancetta, it was delicious. My husband had the rigatoni, that was good as well.
